Maybe I haven't watched enough BL but IMO, this gotta be the most sensual GMMTV BL series I've seen to-date without the actual sex scenes. I remember the first episode alone when Mork brushed his nose over at Pi's ear (which has his favourite mole). Then each time Mork speaks to Pi closely and tenderly, I feel like each breath is a foreplay. Hahahahahaha!

And we probably need to see Pi "drunk" once again to know how to "properly" kiss. But hey, some props for showing the awkwardness of it all in a BL series.

This episode is gold IMO. Too many laugh out loud moments from both tandems. I haven't laughed this hard in a GMMTV episode since "Richy Rich". (Incidentally that episode I'm referring to had a kissing scene too. And what do you know, both have the same director.)

Thank heavens, there was a backstory. And to be fair, it doesn't look forced into the narrative. Kinda ties into how Mork became "A guy from nearby faculty"

And tough life for Pi. I can so relate. =(

And I hope we see more of Mueng Nan's story in the remaining episodes. Mork told Pi back in Episode 5 about his family issues, but again better show than tell.

I saw a theory that maybe the "balloon upon the rooftop" scene was meant for Meen. I think it's plausible because Duean did the kissing (and he seems oblivious on who he's kissing) and there were 4 crazy guys dancing around after the kiss (looks like the Kitty Gang).

Although the surprise was said to be for a dental student by a medical student. I'm thinking maybe Pi went to the wrong venue? Haha!

Anyway, I'm a bit bothered by the time jump coz it's exactly a year later after the umbrella scene. I think Episodes 1-9 could have happened in a couple of months timeframe (or even faster). Maybe something will happen in the next episodes? Are we gonna see the cursed Episode 11 yet again? Hahaha!

I rewatched a bit of TGG and saw the Patrick-Phuwin scenes. And I remember there were some YouTube comments shipping them back then.

I was wondering, had Patrick not left GMMTV would he have been considered here? I'm thinking he would have suited Mueng Nan or even Pi.

I wonder if there'll be a backstory on why Mork actually liked Pi. It's his kind heart, according to the flashback in Episode 8 (and continuation of their exchange regarding traits in Episode 1). But I believe it's better to show than tell, right?

In the back of my head, what if they already met when they were younger? Mork perhaps witnessed first-hand Pi's act of kindness that it left such an impression on him. Or better if Mork was once a nerd too and Pi kinda protected him from bullies even if the latter himself ended up losing anyway.

Novel readers, is there such a scene? Haha!

Hey, great to encounter someone who's around my age group here haha.

Coming from a generation wherein bullying isn't really called out (unlike now thanks to social media, for better or for worse) and crying boys are frowned upon, I learned how to hide underneath layers of shells and walls just to protect myself. In its aftermath, I still find myself struggling to have healthy lasting relationships outside my family.

I don't necessarily follow all BL series, but FUTS appealed to me from the get go. I can relate to Pi a lot even on the first teaser because I can see glimpses of my younger me in him (introverted, physically and socially awkward, achiever, trying to be a good per/son). The idea of a makeover appeals to me as well, but I know firsthand that it can only change the physical aspects but not necessarily the insecurities you're trying to cover up.

Anyway I'm loving the insights I read in the Comment section. This is supposed to be a light-fare project but seeing some of the comments make me pause and realise that somehow a nerve or two has been struck within some of us whilst watching this show.

They might do a BL rerun as replacement to FUTS. I believe GMM25 is reserving Friday nights for BL. Strong possibility would be "2gether" + "Still 2gether" rerun would also air on Fridays. (It'll be re-aired starting this Saturday June 12th.)

Reply came a year late and yeah she's indeed tall. It's evident in Fish upon the Sky in her scenes with Pond/Mork. Haha!

And sucks that she doesn't have her lead role yet!

Also, am I the only one who had a glimpse of The Charming Stepmom? (Didn't watch the whole series, just first 2-3 episodes then I dropped it as I find it too "sabaw".)

Phuwin and Janhae were siblings there, and now they're "love rivals". Hahaha!

Yes he seems to be a really good actor, considering he's just 17. I did some comparison on his previous projects (My Tee, The Charming Stepmom, My Bubble Tea, The Gifted Graduation) and man he really carries himself differently on each of those.

* Of course some may argue that this is his first actual main role (2nd if you count TGG but as an ensemble cast).

He actually had theatre experience. He was part of The Sound of Music Thai version with some experienced actors in the cast. Plus he was a child actor too (just like Gun and Krist).

I have a feeling the last hurdle (Episode 11 or perhaps as early as late Episode 10) will involve the gay shipper and he could be contributing some issues to the budding relationship of Pi and Mork. Then we will probably see the grand fish upon the sky errr rooftop happening in the finale.

Maybe IMO the key to this is going back to the scene inside the theatre where he was talking to Nan. Mork thinks Pi is his fish upon the sky and he knew that he had to resort to teasing because he thinks he can't get Pi's attention otherwise, knowing the latter's self-esteem issues.

Maybe this is Mork being afraid of losing Pi that's why he too had to resort to an alter-identity.
