it's probably because ep 1-7 was fan translated on youtube and other sites use those exact subs :/ I usually sub on viki so I could try to translate more episodes but I'm quite busy these days so it may be a while.

I know it was so amazing I can't bring myself to watch other shows. But if you want to watch another very well made Chinese historical drama you can try the Prince of Lan Ling. It gave me so many feels. Journey of Flower is also very good and is more similar to Eternal Love just because of the wuxia and the effects. The romance however is a bit lacking. Both are good though :)

I definitely agree with your review! I was also disappointed by Journey of Flower although they did film a kiss scene that was cut out of the final product. :(

I started reading Pillow Book too! I'm on volume 2 and I really hope it ends well. I just can't get myself to accept their ending in the drama, though I got hardcore feels when he said that he would have liked her if his name was on the stone. I think mainly I loved the way Vengo portrayed Donghua, especially the small bits of emotion you can see in his face, and how charismatic Dilraba was in her role. If you've finished the book, would you mind telling me if they end up together?

After finishing the drama, I have to say that I absolutely love Fengjiu x Dijun. Seems to be an unpopular opinion, but anyone else?

First of all, I love your profile pic lol. Secondly, do the main couple end up together in the first season? I was going to wait until this second season ended so that perhaps even if they don't in the first they will in the second. But it seems like that's not the case....?
