The handkerchiefs aren't used to strangle. They are most likely covered in a substance like ether to make them pass out.

A Kdrama with the same perfection of early Gray's?! That would be too good to be true!

You are so right. That annoyed me as well and how they are so quick to judge him without examining and studying first.

My problem with medical dramas, the lack of respect for the patient's privacy, and all the politics lol. I watched the first ep of Cain and Abel years ago but didn't go further. I don't remember why so I'll try it again. What dramas are you currently watching that you like most?

Ah don't get me started on detective dramas! Kdrama cops are the most incompetent beings on earth! At least, with two weeks it keeps the drama going. I too have lost my tolerance for clichés and lately it's also rubber faced actresses. Park Soo Jin is in EVERYTHING these days and I find myself distracted by her nose lol. She's even in Seon Duk! Anyhow, I've dropped quite a few dramas this year because I keep hoping for something new.

What a waste of good actors. It was the ear/foot shots that kept repeating because obviously we were too dumb to understand that he heard his father's footsteps that killed it for me. I only watched the first episode as well.

Maybe I'll start seriously watching now that I'm almost halfway through. I really wanted to love Blade and Petal. Tae Woong for one, Choi Min Soo second, but the directing was too artsy fartsy for me to get into it and I hear the plot quickly went strange. Did you watch?

Dong Yi was the only drama over 30 eps I've ever finished. I'm already on ep 20. I've skipped a lot. Need to get to Kim Nam Gil too! Really this didn't need to be so long. I just want to watch Tae yum. hehe

I started watching Queen Seon Duk today since I'm home again with my foot, but I've been skipping to the parts with Uhm Tae Woong. Another handsome warrior....

Korean movies do tend to leave you with a WTF face at the end. But gosh he was delish. Black on black suit, wild hair, the perfect furry face frame....perfect.

So besides Ghost, I've never watched any of SJS's stuff. I've only stared at his pics half drooling for years. So what do you recommend I watch?
Great article, though I know that Yoo Ah In's career goes back a bit. I first noticed him in Strongest Chilwoo opposite Eric back in 2008, and people then were already anticipating his performance.
The prodigies are especially talented. Makes me hopeful of the quality of dramas to come as they age.
