this was really different than anything i watched. it had so much comedy, even towards the love rival and the parents, which i found was very different. it was nice and refreshing, but different. i personally thought this was more a slice of life drama, if anything. it was barely a drama. i felt like it was almost pointless to keep watching this as there was nothing to really look forward to. i mean, they admitted their feelings so early on, i kept saying, why is this 18 episodes. i thought 16 was alot.. i dont know. i loved the romantic scenes between the main couple, the father was tough but inside had a sweet heart, and i loved how the love rival became besties with the girls. it was cute. would i watch this again? no. but it was worth watching for ji sung. god, i swear, when he looked at her, you could see love in his eyes. what a brilliant actor. he was the best part of this series. i dont know if i'd recommend it though. i had to force myself to finish it. 18 episodes seemed a little steep for me. if they wanted to go to 18, i feel like they should've developed things slower. everything seemed very fast paced to me. but the chemistry was on the charts. so i'd recommend it for ji sung and the chemistry between the main leads.
what an amazing series. i can't believe how much i loved it. i never got bored once during this series. it was all full of enjoyment from episode to episode 18. that is saying alot, as many dramas are very draggy. but i found this was not at all. it was perfect. i never really cared for Lee Jong Suk before. i had only seen him in guest/cameo appearances or with his role in secret garden. i just wasn't a fan. but then, i watched this. and thats when i understood. WHAT AN AMAZING ACTOR. i love him. seriously. i am part of that train now and i'm happy to be aboard. also, god.... i just finished watching secret right before this, and i hated, I DETESTED, I SERIOUSLY DID NOT LIKE Lee Da Hee. i wasn't happy to discover she was one of the main leads in this drama. but then, she wowed me with her acting and made me a weeping mess. what an amazing actress. apparently, i need to go against my better judgement because i keep disliking really good actors without really watching something that makes them shine. i learned my lesson. i am so glad i watched this. it was a wonderful story, and i will never forget this. It had comedy, romance, action, cuteness, heartbreak - everything you need! PERFECTION.
p.s. i was looking at the history of mywatchlist, and apparently, i had this on hold for 5 years. i can't believe it. what major regret.
I really like this list. It helped me see the strengths of a few dramas I wasn't sure about. Also, made me get over the hesitation to finish a few of my dropped dramas. Thanks! ^_^
i was watching i hear your voice, and i'm like, who is this girl? she seemed so familiar it was killing me. she's from because this is my first life! omg i freaked. i was so excited. i loved her in because this is my first life. her acting was amazing. so i'm excited to keep watching this!
Her son already found a mother, that could loves him and provide to him as a real mother. That is a happy ending…
Yes I agree. and it suited her character so much. she is the ultimate definition of selfless. so it makes perfect sense she'd do that. and i was glad she did. it would've been so confusing and cruel for her son to go through all that.
I loved him in youre beautiful. i liked him in first half of mary stayed out all night, but it probably was because of the drama... for the second half. i haven't really watched him in anything else. i'm not really interested in a lot of the works he is acting in. i was surprised to see he was in so many roles, and most of the roles, i have never heard of. he will definitely be well known for his role in youre beautiful. he was amazing in that series. it was such an amazing series, after all. i'll need to go in marathon mode, and watch more of his work soon!
I never liked her in Thank You, but then I watched Master's Sun, and was wowed. Now I'm a big fan of her! I guess I just wasn't a fan of Thank You, but I think she's an amazing actress! I didn't realize it, but apparently I've watched 7 series with her in it.. That's crazy.
some people, i just don't understand. i don't get how there can be such opposites. i mean, so many amazing dramas i love, and i see comments like this, saying they hated it, or criticizing the actors. ugh. it frustrates me.
i loved this drama. so effing much. it was amazing. i will admit, the first few episodes were a little crazy, but even though they were crazy, they were GOOD. they were so interesting. i never felt like it was a chore to watch this drama. thats how good it was. i love ji sung. his acting is effing amazing. and his chemistry with hwang jung eum, beautiful. i love them together. they really delivered an amazing drama together. i am so relieved i finally watched this. it only took me this long because it looked so depressing. and yes, its full of heartache, but god, it was worth it.
Wow, I'm very surprised. I assumed she had at least starred as support in other dramas, but no, the two dramas she has only acted in I've seen. Craziness. I'm guessing she prefers movies? I'll have to check her movies out! Amazing acting in Goblin.
He seriously does have presence. He's the type of actor that no matter what he's in, he'll act it out extraordinary. It makes me want to cry sometimes how much I love his acting. I just can't believe how amazing he is. The only other actor who I've loved like this was probably Gong Yoo. I can't wait for his new drama to air, Knowing Wife, it looks so good!

Edit: OMG. i was watching hospital ship, and i'm like... is that who i think it is? IT WAS. I was so happy to see him ^_^
