Until they are sure that the diagnosis is malignance they should keep a low profile and in no means infront of kids.. they should talk to the parents separately!!! And since it was (for the time being) and leg pain he could talk to the mother discreetly .. but of course the series is not so serious.. it's just a cute series nothing more.. but I agree with you that in many cases doctors who should be blunt with their patients are secretive even after the diagnosis and therapy...

I know it's not a realistic medical drama but it seemed too stupid.. 🥴 oh yes I did not remember this detail about his mother! but again it's was so unprofessional and silly the way he acted... Maybe I am a bit overreacting because I work in a hospital but at least he could have asked the child to leave the room and then make his speculation in front of the mother with a more discreet manner..
