No I was not referring to bl series.. in general in novels... I have read novels before with this topics .. it's true most of them were based on toxic relationship but are some with more wealthy backstory...

We did not write that plot and the characters.. the writer did... I don't know why they do it but I have read many reviews and articles that claim that.. so I just figured that maybe Qians character is one of those FICTION characters... And what's wrong about Qian not be 100% sure about his sexuality? Also the novel was written years ago when the same sex relationship was not accepted by Taiwan law ( I read this in an review of the novel).. so it's absolutely normal for Qian to be afraid about Yuan's homosexuality... I can't understand what made you so angry about these comments...
