Omg, omg, omg! I just found this out recently, and omg, I am so excited! Knowing that this was first adapted from a light novel, to an anime, then to a live action drama with even more episodes and coverage, makes something feel so much better about the world.
God knows how much I love a big rant. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I am wishing you all the…
I'm glad I found my soul sister. ^O^
Of course! You were very detailed into your sources, so of course I had to take my time to rant it up with you. I generally don't think I can finish this drama without being pissed.
Either way, this review gives me hope. Thanks, DoHani!
Omg, thank god! I finally found a review that was so helpful.
And do mind me, friend, I don't really care about these spoilers, you see. In fact, I love it, because I relate and tolerate such a review like this.
Anyways, I have a proposal I'd like to ask of you.
First, I'm currently am watching "Boys Over Flowers", and I was hoping if you can help em out more on the drama. I don't really like boring stuff like this, and since I'm at school, this is taking all the fun out of my studies. Geez! -.-
It's so tense yet so boring at the same time. I agree with you on everything you just said, but when saying the actor who plays the girl (don't know name) - which I think is Ji-gun or something? Anyways, who cares!, I was actually pretty okay with her during the beginning of the drama. However, once the drama began getting so freaking BORING, she became the person that robbed me of my ability to laugh. Honestly, I never really liked the characters that much, but I only liked the girl who was playing the girl, because she was sort of funny, but then, she wasn't. Do you understand what I'm saying?
Anyways, I'm still into the drama, and since I watched "Meteor Garden (2018)", this is quite disappointing for me, honestly.
I don't want to watch something that lacks a lot of skill, effort, or strength into their work. Either way, "Meteor Garden (2018)" really expresses a lot of strength into their acting, into their roles, their characters, the setting, the placement, the skill, and how the time was managed into creating absolute life into a drama.
I know that this is such an old drama and all, but that doesn't have to explain why it's so boring. I mean, there are a lot of old dramas from Korea that doesn't have this much bad of a quality of sound, music, and work ethic into its creation.
I feel like they didn't even work hard on anything, other than just making the quantity of the work, and not the quality, sadly. -.-
Either way, I totally wished I read this review when I first started this drama, because honey, there's no turning back now, especially not when your in school.
Hey, friend, I find your review very deep in thought and on point with the movie and the directly. To point out what I mean, I have watched the movie, and thought of it as "direct" , from place to place. Wanna know why?
On YouTube, one day, I had come to the conclusion that I was going to see DMVs (Drama [Fanmade] Music Video or Music Video, which is MV), and react to the one that stood out to me the most, whereas I would watch it the following day. And in this case, I had chosen Japanese movies as my to-go list, because It was a school day, and I had to do something that would make me want to watch a drama while studying the next few hours and doing my homework, too.
Anyways, while I was searching up online, I found on romantic MV that should out to me the most: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HW6qPzll-UU. While I had finished the MV, I made a date to watch it the following day, which I did.
And after school, I began the journey of that cute yet wonderful love story.
At first, I was hesitant of what was going on with the characters, because things were going downward and spirling at a turn.
I am not for one to watch movies like that, but then again, I rarely do - lol.
So, on the 30th timestamp I was in, I kind of understood that Natsume was the new student and was famous for being a model at a young age, but what I didn't understand was if that guy she was with liked her or was her friend or whatever. He never once was jealous of Natsume's relationship with Kou, and Kou never really confessed his feelings for Natsume. Both of them just sort of become a thing, for some reason, and I didn't know with either. I was so confuse thinking, "Do they really have chemistry? Are they really dating? Do they like each other and are dating?". I was utterly so confused at this point.
There was another side of the movie that was very dramatic yet dumb- sorry not sorry -that I hardly knew what was even going on now.
I think you pointed that director guy, right?
Well, I also agree with you. I was thinking that there were only ever scenes of Natsume, and not Kou or his where abouts, what happened a year later, how did their relationship- literally, for some reason, again, and how did Kou just left not saving his love interest?
Anyways, there were lots of things that weren't explained, and I don't think I can ever figure out why those things were never explained in the drama, but while I was thinking about that stupid chase scene, I lost it! Literally, I lost it.
It was too much of a jumble of a mess, my god.
I really wonder sometimes what the people in charge of the movie were thinking, you know?
Anyways, I think you did a well enough job to put things into place, so good job for you, my friend. 3
Overall, I felt it was quite rushed, to be honest.
I didn't put lots of information about this drama cause It'll spoil the suspense... But if you wanna know then…
Of course! ❤
And since you are Addu, Aditi, and Addi, you are like the stick pretzel (sticking to her facts and knows her worth) candy (sweet and noble like the Greek god's description) of my life, like the real thing. <33

And thank you for reviewing this. Once I found out about it, I was a little bit worried that I would have a spoiler on my tail. But of course, I knew you wouldn't do that, Addi. >///<

I know that, and I think that's a good reason, to be honest. <3
Ah, that would be absolutely delightful. But you know, I sort of want to watch it out for myself before knowing the full details, but either way, I think I'll come into conclusion about the rest of the story line. I've always wanted to watch this sort of drama before, but never had the chance to, so I think this would be a great opportunity for me in the future. Thank you, Addi. <33
Glad to know the details so far; it makes me so happy, friend. Is what I was hoping for. Thank you again, Addu. <33

You're right. I don't know about the manga either, but I hope it wasn't like the live action movie, you know?

I haven't watched "Her Private Life" before, but from the looks of this, it already feels like I know what goes in and out of the series.
I want to know what exactly this "childhood trauma" was, and want to understand more about the feelings you've gained from the author's point of view.
Only with this sort of information and review, will people be able to know much more about what goes on in this series before leaving it. <33
You did a really good job!
I'm going to start planning this when I get back from my vacation. :))
