Apparently, the person who sent Bo Na a gift from Russia is Seulgi. He has a Russian name too. He’s Bo Na’s friend and kind of like a brother to her.
Tae Seong actually met Seulgi before, when he was working as a reporter on the Kingfisher case. Seulgi is a mercenary who sometimes works with Bo Na’s team.
At the time, Bo Na was pregnant, so her work partner suggested hiring a mercenary to cover for her. They hired Seulgi, and Tae Seong ended up witnessing Seulgi kill someone. He misunderstood the situation and thought Seulgi was Kingfisher.
Seulgi then basically “kidnapped” Tae Seong and told him to forget everything he saw, otherwise he’d kill Bo Na and the rest of his family. Yul hadn’t been born yet and Bo Na had only just found out she was pregnant that time. (This explain the unknown text message he received about keeping his promise.)
So Tae Seong dropped the Kingfisher case to protect his family.
The funny/interesting part is that Seulgi later visits Bo Na and her family, but Tae Seong doesn’t recognize him. Seulgi becomes friends with the family and often hangs out at Tae Seong’s mom’s chicken shop.
And apparently… Seulgi is actually a really nice guy. 😭

Things are getting messier and messier each episode. 😱 Each individual have their own set of problem. I am very curious how the story will unfold further and wrap up. So many plot twist. Only 1 episode per week? Oh no!
FL is quite rich as she owns several shop-lots and renting them out, including to her MIL. Her family doesn’t know she is rich (being paid a hefty amount from her “job”).
Right now her MIL is quite annoying and hope her character will show some redeeming quality.

I assume you just watch ep 1. She just killed 1 people (one meeting), after she came back to work. Another one they showed was many years ago. I think you’ve missed some parts. Drama is very good. Ep 2 will clear your doubts about who and who and how. Episode 2 also mentioned how many people she killed last time. Just watch and it will clear your confusion. Your assumptions are mostly incorrect. Try put spoiler tag to avoid others to missunderstand. ✌🏼
First episode is so good! Well-paced and I don’t find it slow. Just nice! Looking forward to episode 2! I am loving FL’s character. She suits this type of character! 😍✨
Still nice but quite annoyed to be honest. I think I’ve seen enough of FL’s gloominess since S1. Girl, is time to ramp up! Hope last 4 episode will be a banger like S1. 🥰
Just finished and love the ending and everything! Especially the last scenes of trio ahjuicyssh!!! I am satisfied with the outcome of the villains. It is more unrealistically realistic for me, if you know what I mean. 😉
Not sure why people were complaining so much on the last two episodes out of sudden but every episodes was so great to me. Regret reading the comments which delayed my watch. 😤
