I haven't watched the chinese version of this show but It was a okay drama, I felt like there was so much lacking throughout. The FL tried so hard to be cute that it went more cringey and annoying. Everything seemed rushed and we didn't get to see much character development or even second love interest development, there was NO chemistry between any of the characters especially the FL and ML, it all happened so fast and there were a lot of plotholes. I was hoping when they grew up it would get better, but it was just the same, rushed with lacking development. It wasn't for me, i've seen better cute light dramas, this had potential but did not deliver. Even the ending wasn't all that, only thing I enjoyed was the behind the scenes to be honest.
HAHAHA She adopted that squeky whiny voice to appear younger for A Love So Beautiful. I first watched Lovestruck,…
I don't understand why they couldn't cast someone who is within that teenage age group. But heyho, I'm hoping she matures in that drama and removes that squeaky voice of hers.
I'll watch this show and I'm enduring her in ALSB, I can endure her for a few minutes of screentime in this one hahaha
She plays a much more matured role and she is not that much... The screentime is like 70% jcw-kjw and the 30%…
Okay thats fine, haha thanks! I watched a snippet with her in there and I could not go through the whole scene... Scarred from watching A Love So Beautiful
I would like to watch this drama but it having So Ju Yeon puts me off, because shes in there and all I can hear when she talks is the overyly-hyper squeaky voice she does in A Love So Beautiful and thats very off-putting, I won't be able to take her seriously... is she on the show much, does she have much relevance or can I just skip her?
I don't know what's with the director asking the FL to keep acting like she's a hyperactive middle-schooler. She…
I'm hoping theres development in her character too. It's getting annoying the way shes so hyper and clingy. I'm only enduring it to hope she becomes more mature as they grow up.
I really enjoyed this drama. The characters were unique and well presented. I watched Im Shi Wan in Strangers from Hell which was a great show, it was nice seeing him in a more naive, innocent role aside from the dark role he played previously. The plot was enjoyable, and there was no draggy scenes or love triangles which made it better. I especially loved the diversity of this show, the bromance and how the females got a long with each other was great. Each episode had elements where you'd find yourself laughing, it had a great balance of being serious and comedic. Its a very forward-thinking drama in terms of being open about sexuality, involving the LGBTQ+ community as well which was interesting to see.
The main couples were great, they shared their intelligence, and it wasn't overly fluffy that you'd end up cringing, they were more of a mature, cute couple.. However, I really enjoyed the second lead couples too, they were so funny, they really bounced off each other, especially Kang Tae Oh really shined with his character and acting here, he'd always find a way to make you laugh. They all played their part really well, and you can really take some life lessons from this drama as they all showed independence and took their problems in their own hands to solve, whether it was standing up for themselves or reaching their goals.
I didn't get much into it in the first few episodes, it was a bit slow and okay. I think from episode 11 onwards is where I really started showing interest because you could see feelings gradually progressing, its sweet and fluffy. It became enjoyable to watch and refreshing,
I think it should have ended a bit early when they had that fight with Ji Chung Shin. It would've ended nicely…
I wasn't overly satisfied or understood the ending , all I got from it was they were going around the country to fight other evil spirits that are wandering with new counters. The new counters is all we are waiting for really...
It started off so well, but it started dragging and was filled with subpar fight scenes. They shouldn't have changed…
I think it should have ended a bit early when they had that fight with Ji Chung Shin. It would've ended nicely there if that stupid kid didn't come in the way! I think thats what dragged it the most.
The drama was good. It took me an episode or two to really get into it and understand it, there were parts that left me confused such as the rules and I felt like it did drag a little in the end, nothing too major. Despite that, it was enjoyable to watch and Jo Byung Kyoo's acting was great! Don't know what season 2 has to offer but will be excited to see what new counters will join and the plot of it!
I had to drop this. I found it so stupid how she couldn't tell or realise that they're the same people only a change in clothing *facepalm*. Couldn't take it seriously.
The drama was great, it was your typical romcom teen drama but it was a nice light, fluffy show to watch. It showed you their journey from school to university to adult life which was nice to see because it showed how they all went into different paths which is quite relatable in the real world. I liked how it gave a message in the end about your youth and how precious it is, how we can all get caught up in growing up and chasing our dreams. The drama didn't drag when issues arose which was nice, I enjoyed it a lot that I finished this drama in a few days!
All in all, its a great coming to age drama and I would recommend it! :)
Highly Disappointed

I do recommend this drama!
I gave it a rating of 7.5/10
