Title Castaway Diva Spoiler
Since a lot of us is getting along with the theory that BG = KH, I would like to add that I see some kind of opportunity…
I was thinking the same thing! Because from the moment Woohak found her we didn't see Bogeol's perspective or true reaction to seeing Mokha. If he's Kiho, then it would be such an awesome idea to have those first scenes from his pov, like when they reveal us he's Kiho. All of the reactions and emotions we didn't get to see

I just finished watching the first 2 episodes and by reading some comments I'm so glad I'm not the only one thinking about WWWSK while watching. At first of course I thought about Start Up bc the same people who created that drama are in charge of this one, but also that thing about Woohak forgetting his memories and being so sure he's Kiho while Bogeol just tries to stay away and be cold towards Mokha reminds me so much of WWWSK ML's dynamic with his brother. How he and his family decided to hide the truth from him so he wouldn't feel guilty.
Like I said I haven't watch episodes 3 and 4 but I love that theory about Kiho's father being the one responsible of Woohak's accident and amnesia, because that would mean Bo-geol feels guilty and tries to make Mok-ha go away. He saw what his father can do to a person he loves, he doesn't want that to happen to Mok-ha.

Wow, I'll definitely be back after I watch episodes 3 and 4

There's plenty of things to choose from if they decide to continue the story. I feel like they left things unclear hoping they get the chance to write more, it all depends on how well the drama is received. Things unsolved during all the episodes: Naju's daugther who faked her death, where's she?, that character who can stop time and it's from a different webtoon series. That kid in Gang-hoon's past and whether or not he also has special abilities, if Kisoo's role was only to fill in for the main characters or he maybe has a superpower hidden. And then the things they left unclear in this last episode, the things I said were left behind hoping to continue for another season: Frank's return, that boy from US Elias (I would love for him to be the boy who can stop time maybe), Huisoo's classmate and how she seems to be the one who runs the whole organization, Ganghoon working for the NIS.

So yeah, lots of things, idk if I'm missing smth else. I wouldn't be mad if the story ends here. I would like to believe everyone got their happy ending one way of another. But a second season with the same cast would be wonderful, hope they get to continue.

Any romance in it?
three types of romances! first we're shown puppy inocent love between the kids, just some adorable teenagers. Then when we move to their parents' stories, we get two more romance stories and all three of them are so cute. Obviously the adults' are more mature, but overall I, as a romance fan in any form of media, was completely satisfied.

i think they all know, but idk if bongseok knows about his mom's powers though. i think i haven't really seen…
I agree with you. I haven't seen Bongseok try to hide his mom's powers, maybe bc they're not so noticeable. Or them having a talk about how he got the supersenses from her. I do hope we see both using their superpowers

I think Kisoo is gifted but was disqualified because the shady teacher caused an accident to “test” him. He’s…
now that you mentioned it, the sub teacher did have shady vibes, and I was thinking he was from the North, but they just killed him off so that's it.

I think Kisoo is gifted but was disqualified because the shady teacher caused an accident to “test” him. He’s…
yeah I was thinking the same thing. At first I thought that they were just testing every kid out, since they can never know for sure. But in episode 16 they clearly showed us that the teacher has both parents and children's child. So they do know beforehand that they kid may be gifted. They know for sure they inherited smth because of Kanghoon and how he proved he had his father's powers, but they still need to test it out. So I'm more inclined to think that his power can't be measured like in PE, or he's going to leash out after his last scene.

Why is Frank listed as main role if he died so early in the show???
Idk where they get their casting or info from, but it could be one of two things. 1. He was listed as main character so people wouldn't know right away that he was gonna get killed. For various episodes he played an important role and we even got some backstory. 2. He's still alive. If there's no body, we can never be sure Juwon actually kill him, so perhaps he makes a comeback.

Another thing. They have an ace student.Mr. Time Stop who transferred to a different school. They hid his face,…
Some people were saying that because he's the main character in another series of the webtoon's artists and they have crossovers with Moving, perhaps they haven't shown his face yet to cast him with a famous actor if they make a second season. I feel like it could be both, but I do love your idea of this time-stoping kid being there the entire time. It would have to make sense though

those who r up to date with this, is zo in sung alive? pls spoil
they will most likely give us in the next episode the flashbacks of him after his last capture before making an appearance in the present when they need him the most.

this drama is just poorly structured. more than half the time it spends in flashbacks. production should've hired…
So I'm obviously not an expert on this, but in my opinion I loved how the story was tell. I feel like flashbacks here and there while telling the present story just wouldn't work. They wouldn't capture the weight of each character's backstory properly. And maybe I think that also because I'm a sucker for romance and they gave me three different versions of it, so I'm happy.

I would say there's some characters that perhaps we didn't need to see that much of them, like Gyedo (unless he proves to be completely necessary in the next episodes and changes my mind, which I don't think will happen but yeah).

By spending entire episodes telling backstory (not flashbacks for me), they allow us to truly understand the weight of the character's actions in the present time. For example, we don't know for 8 chapters why Mihyun is so adamant in not letting Bongseok fly. We feel her pain, but we don't understand why she's so frustrated at the end of the present time, finally yelling at Bongseok and mentioning his father for the first time. Then they move us to the past and make us understand just how dangerous it is for Bongseok to let his power develop. In my opinion, it couldn't have been told better and hold the same weight if they only provided us small flashbacks between present moments.

why are the subtitles so poor though
in my opinion they definitely over-simplified them. Netflix does it too but Disney+ is worse. Maybe they do it for the non-kdrama fans, like for them not to get lost idk, but for us is annoying to see how some dialogues have more meaning and depth than that.

The other comment explains it nicely- but your lame attempt at making a fatphobic joke is really unnecessary.…
you're totally right! This time Bongseok's weight has an explanation within the story, but this person acts like oh, because he's fat he can't have powers, or be the main character, that's what they're implying and it's rude and fatphobic. Thanks for calling them out.

I hope someone answers my question please!!
So earlier today I thought I saw a clip about today's episodes. It looked like Mihyun was telling Juwon something along the lines of "I didn't know your child study here as well" or it was them talking to each other in present day. So I got excited because I thought we were going to be seeing that in the episode, but I finished episode 15 and that didn't happen. And I also saw the preview and nothing. Am I crazy or did someone see it too?

I think he is immortal. Not almost immediately regenerative like Joo Won and his daughter. I think the boy in…
I also feel like he has some sort of superpower, but one that cannot be seen or develop well in physical training. I saw someone on Tiktok say that maybe Kisoo is that kid from Kang Hoon's past, but I don't feel like that's it. However, it did give me the impression that maybe that kid could understand or speak to animals.

I think they’re always being monitored by the gov or that team leader.
I think so too. Like someone else said here it's no wonder how three kids with superpowers ended up in the same highschool. Also the teachers clearly know about this and are assigned to evaluate them and decided which ones have special abilities and which ones don't. For example, Kang Hoo and Kisoo's files. They definitely keep track on their children as well.
