It was good at first but then I got SLS and dropped it. I wish it was just the first 3 in the beginning but then Joy got in the picture. I love Joy but my SLS got in the way.
This is me taking notes on every episode! Feel free to watch while reading my notes! This is my 4th time watching so I may be a little biased! THERE WILL BE SPOILERS! I also reviewed Scums Wish, Orange Marmalade, Do Dream, and I'm currently working on My Holo Love! Edit 1- Okay! Episode one finished! No matter how many times I watch this drama I will never not love the first time they met at the bus stop. But I will also never not be surprised when Yuna gets her wig snatched. I really don't have much to say on this episode. I think Joy was the perfect person for this role and I feel the same about Hyun Woo (I love him so much he is so attractive.) Edit 2- Episode 2 Done! Okay so in this episode I always hated how the friend is to jealous for his own good but I guess that means the actor is doing a good job. I always hate when So Rim and Han Gyul l fight but I guess if they didn't the show would be boring huh? I also never understood how Han Gyul found a song bad or "a mess" Like he has to be like not human to find the song at the end a mess. Edit 3-I LOVE that Han Gyul l can't get the song out of his head and that he finds comfort listening to it. In this episode Joy has a crying scene and for her not being very experienced in acting in dramas it was a really good crying scene. She is a beautiful crier ngl. Also I have this think where when a character knows another character is somewhere idk why but I love that. "Are you at school?" Idk I just always liked that kind of thing. ALSO! When Han Gyul is looking for which school she goes to by looking at uniforms I find it the funniest thing! "It's important for your taste but just don't find a girl in uniform." I CAN'T I DIE EVERY TIME! But when he does find her. UGHH! This is my favorite episode in the whole drama because of the Phone booth thing. I love it so much. When Yoon So Rim said "Don't go" I got that feeling, You know that feeling when the two leads are doing something romantic and you feel all happy and warm inside? Yeah that one. Also about Crude air playing. If you knew they weren't good enough have them train longer! Honestly. Chae Yuna- "After I said we were over you never tried to stop me!" Me- "UM WHAT! HE LITERALLY SAID 'I MAY NOT HAVE BEEN THE BEST BOYFRIEND BUT-' I don't remember the rest!" Also that park scene with the kids is so cute! But after he done messed up when he said he hated singers. You'll find out why later. But like when she stood up to the teacher! Love the confidence So Rim! Aaaaaand big mistake not wanting to be their producer HAN GYUL! Just wait till you find out who the rookie group is! Edit 4- Episode 4! I really like this episode. Again I love when Han Gyul asks is So Rim is in school.Their "hang out" (which was totally a date) was so adorable. I mean did you see the way he looked at her? It was full of love and admiration. AND I HATE THAT THEY DIDN'T HOLD HANDS! IT WAS OBVIOUS THEY BOTH WANTED TO! And when they were using the claw machine! So adorable. I love Han Gyul's laugh I find it adorable. and towards the end! "But strangely I keep falling for you. What do I do?" -So Rim I had the feeling when that happened I swear. I loved that Han Gyul loves and plays with the mic they both got.. Now Chan Young. When he realized So Rim was singing their song OH MY GOODNESS! His face went from go lucky to strait faster than I can say y'all. I also wonder why So Rim calls Chan Young Oppa and not Han Gyul. Weird. Also Han Gyull gives me Han Jisung of Stray Kids vibes. I think it's the face shape. But I can tell So Rim is like so worried about what Han Gyul will think when he finds out she's a trainee at his company. But when Han Gyul l finds out. I love his reaction. Edit 5- Wow wee. Okay. I don't know when this was but I wrote it down so I guess i'll talk about it. I wrote "I see him looking at her lips" So I guess I noticed Han Gyul looking at her lips? Idk lol. Oh but when they went to the club place and he sang for her! You can just tell by the way they're looking at each other that they like each other. And when I say that I mean their characters please don't get me wrong lol. Oh I noticed one of the song lyrics the one So Rim wrote said "It approached me and in a small voice." And the first thought that came of mind is when Jeongin of Stray Kids talks in English. His voice is so tiny. I LOVED when Han Gyul became defensive of her! "Don't talk about her like that!" or something among those lines. And about Chae Yuna she seems like a genuinely nice person (for now) but I just don't like her. ALSO! I know we all saw that double take when So Rim walked in with Chae Yuna's dress! I mean he even called her pretty! He made it so obvious he likes her ngl. The phone case is also cute I wish he kept it on longer. And when they got caught acting all cute and couple like. Loved it. He was like holding So Rim's arm and they were so close. Ugh i loved it. But when Chan Young asked So Rim if he wanted to hear Crude Plays new song. I knew I KNEW this would not turn out well. And it made me feel so bad when her facial expression changed. :((( Edit-6 Okay so the recap changed if from the 5th episode but I didn't mind it. When So Rim found out and left Han Gyul looks as if he's about to cry and punch someone at the same time. It left me hear broken. When Han Gyul bought her the fancy ice cream and they were like talking in all Han Gyul could not look away from her eyes. It was adorable really. BUT WHEN THEY FOUGHT OH MY GOD I WAS ABOUT TO CRY I HATED IT. But that's okay because the motivation speech he gave her gave me the feeling. I mean he way he held her and looked straight into her yes I almost melted. Left me on a cliffhanger though. Even though I know what's going to happen I was so in the zone. Edit 7- ooookaaaaay. I think it's so adorable how obvious Han Gyul likes So Rim and her singing. And in this episode you can tell Joy is from a girl group by the way she was dancing while singing lol. And at the end when Chan Young and So Rim were talking Han Gyul l was so jealous I loved it. But later he was so happy So Rim wan't mad at him he was skipping and smiling and laughing down the street it was adorable. And when Han Gyul and the guys went for drinks it looked so genuine and like so much fun! Buy the! Later on the call with So Rim when he said "Because...I want to see you." I COULD YOU NOT I SCREAMED SO LOUD! He basically asked her out and he was so happy she skipped along the street again but more happy. I loved that they met for their "date" By looking at themselves in the window fixing their hair. And when she rested her head on his shoulder I - Oh my god it was so cute.And when they ate Han Gyul l was jealous because So Rim was fantasizing over Chan Young. But it's okay because he saved her from almost dying because of the bike. AND WHEN HE WAS TYING HER SHOE LACE! AND SHE STARTED PETTING HIM! HE SHOULDN'T HAVE LOOKED UP AND GOT KICKED! RUINED THE MOMENT! Okay but when he told Chae Yuna "There's only one girl I want to sing my songs." I was like "HELL YEAH TELL HER HAN GYUL! I DON'T like that So Rim held Chan Young's hand though but whatever. Also doesn't Mush & Co have a dating band? Like wth. Edit 8- Okay. So I love the relationship So Rim has with Han Gyul's dad. Also oh my god Joy looks good in everything. Screw Chae Yuna or whatever I'm here for Joy/So Rim. AND THE WAS HAN GYUL LOOKED AT SO RIM IN AWE WHEN SHE WALKED IN! Adorable. Like he saw her and all his "anger" for her was gone. Poof. I mean you can tell he's trying so hard not to do anything to her or say anything. Buy then we get to them playing the Bass. They were getting closer...and closer...aaaaand...CHAN YOUNG YOU- HOW COULD YOU! I feel the same way Han Gyul did. Why didn't you knock huh? Also hate that Chae Yuna is using excuses to get Han Gyul to write her a song. It's written all over her face. But then when Han Gyul was with Chan Young. "I'm the one who met her first." yessss. "What?" "I'm the one who met her first." YESSSSS. "I'm the one who recognized her voice first." TELL HIM HAN GYUL! like two seconds later "What if i'm serious about her?" You are. "What if i'm sincere?" YOU ARE! "What if I want to be in her life and music?" YOU DO!!!! And later when So Rim found out Chan Young's song was chosen I could tell she was secretly hoping for it to be Han Gyul's song. And when they met up he was so worried about why she was crying! And the rush of guilt he felt when he guessed it was about him! I can't I was sad. Now I'm not even going to talk about the Chan Young and So Rim scene at the end. But the OST was good. Edit 9- Y'ALL IT HAPPENED! Okay let me take a few steps back and go through the whole episode. Okay so like I don't like that Chan Young is distracting from the beautiful couple but he is so amazingly beautiful. It's unfair. But it's okay because even the president of the company knows Han Gyul like So Rim. And now about Chae Yuna. I have a bit to say about her..........CAN'T SHE GET IN HER HEAD THAT SHE CAN'T HAVE THAT SONG!? SORRY TO BREAK IT TO YOU SWEETHEART BUT YOU CAN ALWAYS HAVE WHAT YOU WANT! Ugh she makes me so mad! Seeing her "brag" about Han Gyul being her produver and talking about how much she knows him? I can't. Like can't you tell you're making So Rim feel awkward and uncomfortable? I mean you're going so slow to make a high schooler (someone around 10 years younger than you) feel uncomfortable? That's messed up. Also I think the blond dude in Crude Play is adorable. Like if Crude play was a real band he's be my bias. Anyways. When Han Gyul called So Rim he didn't hesitate to run to her because she was sad. BUT THEN SHE LISTENED TO THE SONG! I'm so happy. And it looked liked she loved it. I also love the reaction when Han Gyul found out his dad knows So Rim lmao. ALSO MUSH & CO DEBUTED! YAY! I loved how Han Gyul rushed to get there in time. and then he left and guess what, SO RIM CHASED AFTER HIM! Love that. But it doesn't stop there oh ho no no. HE SAID HE LIKED HER! AND THEN THEY HUGGED AND HE WAS SO HAPPY AND LIKE HE NEVER WANTED TO LET HER GO! Guys! The ship took so long to be built but it finally sailed! Edit 10- AWE SUCH A CUTE EPISODE! In the beggining I didn't take to many notes because I was fangirling on how cute they were. But I did right "caught in the act" lmao. Also when So Rim left with her manager Han Gyul was skipping and being all cute again. It was so cute watching Han Gyul wait for So Rim's call! He was being all jumpy and ugh so cute. Also! At first I said he looked a bit like Han Jisung of Stray Kids but at certain angles he looks like Seungmin of Stray Kids lol. Hm. I. Hate. Chae. Yuna. But I guess that mean the actress is doing her job right. Also I love when So Rim pretends to be upset! I laugh every time. I also love that Han Gyul changed him mind when he found out So Rim was going. So adorable. I ALSO DIE EVERY TIME WHEN HAN GYUL STARTS TO RUN OFF WITH HIS HEADPHONES HAHAHA! When the gang arrived at the beach it again looked as if they were genuinely having fun and I'm here for it. I also Love that "No she should definitely pick up with me! I'm her-" I had "At that moment he knew...he f'ed up" in my head I loved it. And that ball game looked fun. BUT THEN AT THE END! YOU CAN TELL HE TRIED HIS BEST NOT TO DO ANYTHING TO HER CONSIDERING HER AGE BUT HE COULDN'T ANYMORE AND THEN BOOM! He kissed her. SO ADORABLE! Edit 11- All I gotta say is Kang Han Gyul and Yoon So Rim are adorable and Chan Young is over stepping the boundaries. Edit 12- Yeah so um it has been awhile since I watched this episode and I lost the notes I took on it so all I gotta say is Chan Young. You know she's dating Han Gyul you already steeped over the line. Don't go past the river. Edit 13- I don't have much to say other than I love that Han Gyul and So Rim have each others back. They honestly have a pretty healthy relationship for the situation their in. I also love So Rim and Han Gyul's father interactions. It good to be close to your boyfriends dad. edit 14- MY BABY IN-HO WHY! I LOVE HIM AND I'M GLAD NOTHING HAPPENED TO DRUMMER BOY! Also I love that Han Gyul can freely express how he's feeling in from of So Rim and not feel any less. It just shows that they are comfortable around each other and love each other. Edit 15- Okaaaaay second to last episode I'm rlly sad. Hmmm I don't rlly know what to say after this episode. I'm kinda glad Crude Play told the truth and Han Gyul and So Rim are the cutest couple. (Also I still think Lee Hyun Woo or Han Gyul looks like Han Jisung of Stray Kids) Edit 16- IUFHOWHG I'M SO SAD! IT WAS THE LAST EPISODE! I would like to first adress that So Rim legit said "And I can't be in a girl group you know I can't dance>" MA GIRL SO RIM AKA JOY OF RED VELVET CAN'T DANCE! Lmao that has to be like a joke. And when Crude Play were all at Han Gyul's place and they were yelling and being basically chaotic it seemed so real like they were a real group because us kpop fans know there is not one group that isn't chaotic. And around the middle when So Rim got recognized loved that. Also the I think Getuar player the one I said I loved before the loud one. I swear I saw him in three different hair colors through out the show lmao. The drinking scene and the changing Yoon So Rim's name in Han Gyul contacts will forever be one of my favorite things.
Ughhhh so I guess this is the end. It was a lot of fun watching the drama with you guys! I didn't do a spell check so if anything is wrong I apologize. I'm so sad! I think their story is adorable and I think Joy (Yoon So Rim) and Lee Hyun Woo (Kang Han Gyul) did freaking amazing in this drama. Hello! This is me taking notes on every episode as I watch them! I'm not putting spoiler because I wanted this to be easier to access incase someone wants to read my reviews after every episode. I'm sorry if you find this annoying. I also reviewed Orange Marmalade and Scums Wish! Let's enjoy My Holo Love together! (I loved the trailer!) Edit 1- Okay so I just finished episode 1! A few notes. I thought it was so cute when Holo said "cool" I think I UWUed. There was kinda a lot happening in episode 1 but it wasn't to to much. Also the cast are actually the most beautiful people. And they all rock the glasses look. So far the drama is going well. Edit 2- Okay. Wow. So first of all sorry for taking to long to watch the next episode. Second it took me a stupid amount of time to realized that Holo and the guys who made him are the same person lol. Also I would love to know how they made it look as if all of Korea (or at least Seoul) had a black out. Other than that I really liked episode 2! On to the next! Edit 3- Okay. This episode gave a roller coaster of emotions. First of all I meant to say this in the first episode but whenever Holo and the Han So Yun do something and they succeed Holo always like...dances in the background? Well he'll have other reactions but him dancing is what I remember best. At the end when Go Nan Do was pretending to be Holo my heart melted. That was super cute. Also my man Hwang Chan Sung! I loved him in Secretary Kim. That's all for episode 3 lets watch episode 4. Edit 4- Okay so for most of the episode I wasn't wearing my glasses so it was a little difficult to read the subtitles so keep that in mind please. Okay so um. I laughed thinking about an actor acting with himself lol. That thought just made me giggle. Holo is so adorable. When he was playing with the waves I thought it was the cutest thing. His laugh is also so adorable. When Go Nan Do was in his like "man cave" he was literally acting how I do when I procrastinate about doing school work. Another thing is, does anyone notice the noise the glasses make every time Han So Yun touches them? I don't think glasses make that much noise. Maybe those glasses are like loose or maybe mine are just different idk. I also noticed that Han So Yun and her friend were drinking white wine. In most dramas leads drink red wine. So I thought that was pretty neat. Also anyone notice how amazing the OST is? I mean I actually love it so much. The songs are beautiful.Last but not least is that these love realizations were QUICK. Like it only took 4 episodes for Go Nan Do to realized he liked Han So Yun. anyways it's late so I'll continue watching later unless I get bored and can't sleep.

I say it is if you skip episodes 5-9 you should be good. Episodes 1-4 and 10-12 are actually pretty good. I had 2nd lead syndrome at the start but towards the end I start to pull away from that. Beware the plot goes pretty fast so it could be a lot.
Hello! This is me watching every episode and putting notes down here for everyone to read over. The reason I'm not putting spoiler is because I know some people like the know more detail about a drama before watching it. I did read the WEBTOON and I loved it so my expectations are high. I also did this for Scums Wish if you want more reviews. Also feel free to read my reviews as you watch the episodes as well! You can watch it on Viki :))) Edit 1- Okay so I just finished the first episode and when it comes to casting I think they did perfect for Baek Ha Ri! She's a beautiful,talented actor,and an amazing singer. For Jae Min I think he is an amazing actor but I just keep looking at his uneven bangs. He looks better with his hair back but since he's playing a high school student I can see why that wouldn't be an option (edit So in one episode he does have his hair back and I loved it while it lasted). Also I think he has abs but idk. The OST is good but it repeats a few times. The story line is if I remember correctly is following the WEBTOON...for the most part. Edit 2- Okay so in episode 2 is where it slowly starts to drift away from the original WEBTOON but honestly I don't think it's going in a bad way. I love the WEBTOON version but so far I don't mind this way either. Also I'm having serious second male lead syndrome :0 Edit-3 Okay okay. So I don't remember much of the beginning of the episode because I had to pause for therapy but the end I thought was cute. They finally got the band together. The song was good and fun to dance to. I still have SMLS (Second male lead syndrome) but i'll be fine. The kiss was alright. It was like every Korean kiss. Just a touch of the lips. Edit 4- Oh my goodness I- Okay so I might have died a little when Second male lead burned. I couldn't stop crying. Another thing is wth. I remember when Jae Min found out Baek Ha Ri was a vampire he got pissed. And I remember the other band members didn't mind. Also there wasn't a light house. And he definitely did not lose his memory. Edit 5- Ughh I knew right from the start I will not like this episode. I am not a fan of historic dramas! I knew there was going to be a little bit of it going into it so I thought I would try but...no I can't do it. There are some parts I found cool but they were so short! It wasn't even worth watching. I will skip this episode. I don't know if there are present time parts in this episode but i'll leave that to you to find out. Edit 6- I can't do it. I just can't I'm so sorry but I'm skipping episodes 6-9 Edit 7- Oh my goodness episode 10 is my favorite so far. I really liked this episode. I'm going to leave why up to you. Okay but one reason is because my man Han Shi Hoo is back! I love him. And I just saw he isn't second lead and that he's main so that makes my heart happy. Edit 8- Okay. So I again don't remember much of the first part of episode 11 but the end was cute. Jae Min's hair is still uneven but it's a good uneven. And with Han Shi Hoo I love him so much he's my favorite character but now I see him as like a brother to Baek Ma Ri. I would be happy if he ended up with that one girl with the "tomato juice" . Edit 9- Oh my gosh it's over :( Okay so the drama isn't all like the WEBTOON. Well some parts are the same but most of it is different. I plan to re read the WEBTOON because the drama reminded me how much I loved it. Jae Min was a bit of an ass when he didn't like vampires but that's okay. Han Shi Woo is still my favorite and I will be watching more dramas he's in. I'm so happy he was happy at the end and that he had loads of fans. I hope this isn't the only drama lol. The drama made me love the idea of a coed kpop band. I know there are a few groups (KARD) but I don't know many bands. I don't think there's any room for a season 2 but I wouldn't mind seeing one. Also I think the drama could've done without the historical type parts but I guess it's okay. This was really fun and I would love to see your guys thoughts on the drama so let me know! It's kinda like friends with benefits but they're known to be publicly dating. Edit 2- I just finished the second episode and I'm starting to fall for the main leads a lot. I learned they aren't friends with benefits but they're pretty close. I also had my guesses that that one girl liked Hana and not Mugi but I didn't think it was true! So far so good. Edit 3- Hmmm episode 3 felt short. I don't know if it was actually short or not but that's besides the point. I felt awkward when Hanabi and Mugi were laying in bed together but that could just be me. I still love their relationship and I was heart broken when they fought. Also Hanabi could totally be a detective lol. Edit 4- OH HO HO! Okay the teacher is so scary! Like what the heck! Why does she want to see people suffer? I hate the teacher so much but I guess that means she's doing her job perfectly. Edit 5- AHHH OK OK. SO I SKIPPED MOST OF THE BEGINNING BECAUSE IT BROKE MY HEART TO SEE MUGI AND HANABI WITH OTHER PEOPLE BUT THAT'S OK BECAUSE AT THE END THEY WANTED TO BE WITH EACH OTHER MORE THAN BEFORE! I CAN'T I LOVE THEM! THIS WAS MY FAVORITE EPISODE JUST BECAUSE OF THE END WHEN THEY "EAT LUNCH TOGETHER" Edit 6- Ughhh I love Mugi and I love Hanabi but Hanabi was TAINTED! That poor girl is just looking to love and the guy she likes gets taken and slept with by another women! I want her to date Mugi but not for the wrong reasons! Edit 7- My thoughts when things or lines were said/done. "I wonder what it's like to kiss someone you love." Me-"THEN KISS MUGI!" When she's about to do it with the one dude she saw at the place with her teacher . "OH MY GOD NOOO! GET YOURSELF TOGETHER HANABI! WRONG GUY IF YOU DIDN'T NOTICE!" When she was kiss Mugi "YES GIRL FINALLY YOU FOUND HIM! WHAT TOOK SO LONG!" When the girl interrupted their kiss "GIRL WHY! IT WAS JUST GETTING GOOD!" So yeah lots of yelling. Edit 8- Okay so this episode gave me mixed emotions. Most of the episode I was friggen mad because 1 Mugi didn't answer Hanabi's call. 2 Mugi kissed that girl, 3 Hanabi made the stick into the trash bin. But at the same time it made me so happy! Mugi realized that girl is more like a little sister. Hanabi and Mugi are going to confess and that could bring more good things rather than bad and last but not least Idk but I hope Hanabi will stop seeing that one guy. Edit 9- I KNEW IT! I WAS HAVING TROUBLE WATCHING THE END AND I THOUGHT ABOUT JUST GOING TO THE NEXT EPISODE AFTER WRITING THIS BUT I DECIDED TO WAIT IT OUT AND WATCH IT AND NOW I'M MAD! I'M SO MAD AT MUGI! HE JUST LEFT HER! SHE WAITED FOR TWO HOURS! TWO HOURS I SAY! UGHHH IT WAS FINALLY ABOUT TO PLAN OUT! Edit 10- Y'ALL HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH TROUBLE I WAS HAVING TRYING TO WATCH THE END OF THE EPISODE! MY COMPUTER IS OLD I'M MAD ANYWAYS ON TO THE EPISODE.Watching this episode made me so mad at both the girls trying to get with my Mugi and Hanabi! Poor them getting tainted by people who are selfish! I'm glad Mugi was able to realize he could never change her but I don't like that he still loves her (I don't know if he was talking about Hanabi or the teacher because I kinda skipped it but I think it's the teacher) anyways I'm proud of Hanabi realizing what she was doing with that girl was bad so good fer her! I'm proud !Edit 11- OH MY FRIGGEN UGGHH YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MAD I WAS AT THE START! I EVEN TOOK OFF MY GLASSES! I JUST DID NOT WANT TO SEE MUGI WITH HER! But by then end I realized just how amazing of an actor Mugi is! I think he was in another drama (That I also love so much) But i'm going to have to check. Also HANABI GO GET YOU MAN! Final Edit- YOU'RE KIDDING! I SPENT 6 AND A HALF HOURS WATCHING THIS! AND WHAT HAPPENS? THEY DON'T END UP TOGETHER! OH MY GOD! I WAS SO READY TO SEE THEM HAPPY TOGETHER WITH 50 CHILDREN AND HOLDING HANDS! I'M GLAD HANABI GOT FRIENDS BUT STILL- ALSO I LOVE THE WAY HANABI SAYS MUGI'S NAME! I MEANT TO SAY THAT IN THE FIRST EDIT BUT DID LOL. I'm so angry. Also I found out that yes Mugi was in another drama I watch! He was a supporting role for Good Morning Call! I plan to watch more of him! Anyways let me know your thoughts on the drama. I'd like to see how y'all felt about it. This is my first time doing this kind of thing and I liked it so I will do many more of these on other dramas.i respect their decision to stay mutual but I would love to see a second season of just them getting romantic. I herd the anime was getting a second season don't quote me in that.
I didn't like it. I was being a little biased and didn't want her to end up with Jiwoon and that's probably why I don't like it, but I also don't like the second female lead. I thought she was pushy the only think I liked about her is that she kept reminding me of Jennie from Blackpink.

But I will also never not be surprised when Yuna gets her wig snatched. I really don't have much to say on this episode. I think Joy was the perfect person for this role and I feel the same about Hyun Woo (I love him so much he is so attractive.)
Edit 2- Episode 2 Done! Okay so in this episode I always hated how the friend is to jealous for his own good but I guess that means the actor is doing a good job. I always hate when So Rim and Han Gyul l fight but I guess if they didn't the show would be boring huh? I also never understood how Han Gyul found a song bad or "a mess" Like he has to be like not human to find the song at the end a mess.
Edit 3-I LOVE that Han Gyul l can't get the song out of his head and that he finds comfort listening to it. In this episode Joy has a crying scene and for her not being very experienced in acting in dramas it was a really good crying scene. She is a beautiful crier ngl. Also I have this think where when a character knows another character is somewhere idk why but I love that. "Are you at school?" Idk I just always liked that kind of thing. ALSO! When Han Gyul is looking for which school she goes to by looking at uniforms I find it the funniest thing! "It's important for your taste but just don't find a girl in uniform." I CAN'T I DIE EVERY TIME! But when he does find her. UGHH! This is my favorite episode in the whole drama because of the Phone booth thing. I love it so much. When Yoon So Rim said "Don't go" I got that feeling, You know that feeling when the two leads are doing something romantic and you feel all happy and warm inside? Yeah that one. Also about Crude air playing. If you knew they weren't good enough have them train longer! Honestly. Chae Yuna- "After I said we were over you never tried to stop me!" Me- "UM WHAT! HE LITERALLY SAID 'I MAY NOT HAVE BEEN THE BEST BOYFRIEND BUT-' I don't remember the rest!" Also that park scene with the kids is so cute! But after he done messed up when he said he hated singers. You'll find out why later. But like when she stood up to the teacher! Love the confidence So Rim! Aaaaaand big mistake not wanting to be their producer HAN GYUL! Just wait till you find out who the rookie group is!
Edit 4- Episode 4! I really like this episode. Again I love when Han Gyul asks is So Rim is in school.Their "hang out" (which was totally a date) was so adorable. I mean did you see the way he looked at her? It was full of love and admiration. AND I HATE THAT THEY DIDN'T HOLD HANDS! IT WAS OBVIOUS THEY BOTH WANTED TO! And when they were using the claw machine! So adorable. I love Han Gyul's laugh I find it adorable. and towards the end! "But strangely I keep falling for you. What do I do?" -So Rim I had the feeling when that happened I swear. I loved that Han Gyul loves and plays with the mic they both got.. Now Chan Young. When he realized So Rim was singing their song OH MY GOODNESS! His face went from go lucky to strait faster than I can say y'all. I also wonder why So Rim calls Chan Young Oppa and not Han Gyul. Weird. Also Han Gyull gives me Han Jisung of Stray Kids vibes. I think it's the face shape. But I can tell So Rim is like so worried about what Han Gyul will think when he finds out she's a trainee at his company. But when Han Gyul l finds out. I love his reaction.
Edit 5- Wow wee. Okay. I don't know when this was but I wrote it down so I guess i'll talk about it. I wrote "I see him looking at her lips" So I guess I noticed Han Gyul looking at her lips? Idk lol. Oh but when they went to the club place and he sang for her! You can just tell by the way they're looking at each other that they like each other. And when I say that I mean their characters please don't get me wrong lol. Oh I noticed one of the song lyrics the one So Rim wrote said "It approached me and in a small voice." And the first thought that came of mind is when Jeongin of Stray Kids talks in English. His voice is so tiny. I LOVED when Han Gyul became defensive of her! "Don't talk about her like that!" or something among those lines. And about Chae Yuna she seems like a genuinely nice person (for now) but I just don't like her. ALSO! I know we all saw that double take when So Rim walked in with Chae Yuna's dress! I mean he even called her pretty! He made it so obvious he likes her ngl. The phone case is also cute I wish he kept it on longer. And when they got caught acting all cute and couple like. Loved it. He was like holding So Rim's arm and they were so close. Ugh i loved it. But when Chan Young asked So Rim if he wanted to hear Crude Plays new song. I knew I KNEW this would not turn out well. And it made me feel so bad when her facial expression changed. :(((
Edit-6 Okay so the recap changed if from the 5th episode but I didn't mind it. When So Rim found out and left Han Gyul looks as if he's about to cry and punch someone at the same time. It left me hear broken. When Han Gyul bought her the fancy ice cream and they were like talking in all Han Gyul could not look away from her eyes. It was adorable really. BUT WHEN THEY FOUGHT OH MY GOD I WAS ABOUT TO CRY I HATED IT. But that's okay because the motivation speech he gave her gave me the feeling. I mean he way he held her and looked straight into her yes I almost melted. Left me on a cliffhanger though. Even though I know what's going to happen I was so in the zone.
Edit 7- ooookaaaaay. I think it's so adorable how obvious Han Gyul likes So Rim and her singing. And in this episode you can tell Joy is from a girl group by the way she was dancing while singing lol. And at the end when Chan Young and So Rim were talking Han Gyul l was so jealous I loved it. But later he was so happy So Rim wan't mad at him he was skipping and smiling and laughing down the street it was adorable. And when Han Gyul and the guys went for drinks it looked so genuine and like so much fun! Buy the! Later on the call with So Rim when he said "Because...I want to see you." I COULD YOU NOT I SCREAMED SO LOUD! He basically asked her out and he was so happy she skipped along the street again but more happy. I loved that they met for their "date" By looking at themselves in the window fixing their hair. And when she rested her head on his shoulder I - Oh my god it was so cute.And when they ate Han Gyul l was jealous because So Rim was fantasizing over Chan Young. But it's okay because he saved her from almost dying because of the bike. AND WHEN HE WAS TYING HER SHOE LACE! AND SHE STARTED PETTING HIM! HE SHOULDN'T HAVE LOOKED UP AND GOT KICKED! RUINED THE MOMENT! Okay but when he told Chae Yuna "There's only one girl I want to sing my songs." I was like "HELL YEAH TELL HER HAN GYUL! I DON'T like that So Rim held Chan Young's hand though but whatever. Also doesn't Mush & Co have a dating band? Like wth.
Edit 8- Okay. So I love the relationship So Rim has with Han Gyul's dad. Also oh my god Joy looks good in everything. Screw Chae Yuna or whatever I'm here for Joy/So Rim. AND THE WAS HAN GYUL LOOKED AT SO RIM IN AWE WHEN SHE WALKED IN! Adorable. Like he saw her and all his "anger" for her was gone. Poof. I mean you can tell he's trying so hard not to do anything to her or say anything. Buy then we get to them playing the Bass. They were getting closer...and closer...aaaaand...CHAN YOUNG YOU- HOW COULD YOU! I feel the same way Han Gyul did. Why didn't you knock huh? Also hate that Chae Yuna is using excuses to get Han Gyul to write her a song. It's written all over her face. But then when Han Gyul was with Chan Young. "I'm the one who met her first." yessss. "What?" "I'm the one who met her first." YESSSSS. "I'm the one who recognized her voice first." TELL HIM HAN GYUL! like two seconds later "What if i'm serious about her?" You are. "What if i'm sincere?" YOU ARE! "What if I want to be in her life and music?" YOU DO!!!! And later when So Rim found out Chan Young's song was chosen I could tell she was secretly hoping for it to be Han Gyul's song. And when they met up he was so worried about why she was crying! And the rush of guilt he felt when he guessed it was about him! I can't I was sad. Now I'm not even going to talk about the Chan Young and So Rim scene at the end. But the OST was good.
Edit 9- Y'ALL IT HAPPENED! Okay let me take a few steps back and go through the whole episode. Okay so like I don't like that Chan Young is distracting from the beautiful couple but he is so amazingly beautiful. It's unfair. But it's okay because even the president of the company knows Han Gyul like So Rim. And now about Chae Yuna. I have a bit to say about her..........CAN'T SHE GET IN HER HEAD THAT SHE CAN'T HAVE THAT SONG!? SORRY TO BREAK IT TO YOU SWEETHEART BUT YOU CAN ALWAYS HAVE WHAT YOU WANT! Ugh she makes me so mad! Seeing her "brag" about Han Gyul being her produver and talking about how much she knows him? I can't. Like can't you tell you're making So Rim feel awkward and uncomfortable? I mean you're going so slow to make a high schooler (someone around 10 years younger than you) feel uncomfortable? That's messed up. Also I think the blond dude in Crude Play is adorable. Like if Crude play was a real band he's be my bias. Anyways. When Han Gyul called So Rim he didn't hesitate to run to her because she was sad. BUT THEN SHE LISTENED TO THE SONG! I'm so happy. And it looked liked she loved it. I also love the reaction when Han Gyul found out his dad knows So Rim lmao. ALSO MUSH & CO DEBUTED! YAY! I loved how Han Gyul rushed to get there in time. and then he left and guess what, SO RIM CHASED AFTER HIM! Love that. But it doesn't stop there oh ho no no. HE SAID HE LIKED HER! AND THEN THEY HUGGED AND HE WAS SO HAPPY AND LIKE HE NEVER WANTED TO LET HER GO! Guys! The ship took so long to be built but it finally sailed!
Edit 10- AWE SUCH A CUTE EPISODE! In the beggining I didn't take to many notes because I was fangirling on how cute they were. But I did right "caught in the act" lmao. Also when So Rim left with her manager Han Gyul was skipping and being all cute again. It was so cute watching Han Gyul wait for So Rim's call! He was being all jumpy and ugh so cute. Also! At first I said he looked a bit like Han Jisung of Stray Kids but at certain angles he looks like Seungmin of Stray Kids lol. Hm. I. Hate. Chae. Yuna. But I guess that mean the actress is doing her job right. Also I love when So Rim pretends to be upset! I laugh every time. I also love that Han Gyul changed him mind when he found out So Rim was going. So adorable. I ALSO DIE EVERY TIME WHEN HAN GYUL STARTS TO RUN OFF WITH HIS HEADPHONES HAHAHA! When the gang arrived at the beach it again looked as if they were genuinely having fun and I'm here for it. I also Love that "No she should definitely pick up with me! I'm her-" I had "At that moment he knew...he f'ed up" in my head I loved it. And that ball game looked fun. BUT THEN AT THE END! YOU CAN TELL HE TRIED HIS BEST NOT TO DO ANYTHING TO HER CONSIDERING HER AGE BUT HE COULDN'T ANYMORE AND THEN BOOM! He kissed her. SO ADORABLE!
Edit 11- All I gotta say is Kang Han Gyul and Yoon So Rim are adorable and Chan Young is over stepping the boundaries.
Edit 12- Yeah so um it has been awhile since I watched this episode and I lost the notes I took on it so all I gotta say is Chan Young. You know she's dating Han Gyul you already steeped over the line. Don't go past the river.
Edit 13- I don't have much to say other than I love that Han Gyul and So Rim have each others back. They honestly have a pretty healthy relationship for the situation their in. I also love So Rim and Han Gyul's father interactions. It good to be close to your boyfriends dad.
edit 14- MY BABY IN-HO WHY! I LOVE HIM AND I'M GLAD NOTHING HAPPENED TO DRUMMER BOY! Also I love that Han Gyul can freely express how he's feeling in from of So Rim and not feel any less. It just shows that they are comfortable around each other and love each other.
Edit 15- Okaaaaay second to last episode I'm rlly sad. Hmmm I don't rlly know what to say after this episode. I'm kinda glad Crude Play told the truth and Han Gyul and So Rim are the cutest couple. (Also I still think Lee Hyun Woo or Han Gyul looks like Han Jisung of Stray Kids)
Edit 16- IUFHOWHG I'M SO SAD! IT WAS THE LAST EPISODE! I would like to first adress that So Rim legit said "And I can't be in a girl group you know I can't dance>" MA GIRL SO RIM AKA JOY OF RED VELVET CAN'T DANCE! Lmao that has to be like a joke. And when Crude Play were all at Han Gyul's place and they were yelling and being basically chaotic it seemed so real like they were a real group because us kpop fans know there is not one group that isn't chaotic. And around the middle when So Rim got recognized loved that. Also the I think Getuar player the one I said I loved before the loud one. I swear I saw him in three different hair colors through out the show lmao. The drinking scene and the changing Yoon So Rim's name in Han Gyul contacts will forever be one of my favorite things.
Ughhhh so I guess this is the end. It was a lot of fun watching the drama with you guys! I didn't do a spell check so if anything is wrong I apologize. I'm so sad! I think their story is adorable and I think Joy (Yoon So Rim) and Lee Hyun Woo (Kang Han Gyul) did freaking amazing in this drama. Edit 1- Okay so I just finished episode 1! A few notes. I thought it was so cute when Holo said "cool" I think I UWUed. There was kinda a lot happening in episode 1 but it wasn't to to much. Also the cast are actually the most beautiful people. And they all rock the glasses look. So far the drama is going well.
Edit 2- Okay. Wow. So first of all sorry for taking to long to watch the next episode. Second it took me a stupid amount of time to realized that Holo and the guys who made him are the same person lol. Also I would love to know how they made it look as if all of Korea (or at least Seoul) had a black out. Other than that I really liked episode 2! On to the next!
Edit 3- Okay. This episode gave a roller coaster of emotions. First of all I meant to say this in the first episode but whenever Holo and the Han So Yun do something and they succeed Holo always like...dances in the background? Well he'll have other reactions but him dancing is what I remember best. At the end when Go Nan Do was pretending to be Holo my heart melted. That was super cute. Also my man Hwang Chan Sung! I loved him in Secretary Kim. That's all for episode 3 lets watch episode 4.
Edit 4- Okay so for most of the episode I wasn't wearing my glasses so it was a little difficult to read the subtitles so keep that in mind please. Okay so um. I laughed thinking about an actor acting with himself lol. That thought just made me giggle. Holo is so adorable. When he was playing with the waves I thought it was the cutest thing. His laugh is also so adorable. When Go Nan Do was in his like "man cave" he was literally acting how I do when I procrastinate about doing school work. Another thing is, does anyone notice the noise the glasses make every time Han So Yun touches them? I don't think glasses make that much noise. Maybe those glasses are like loose or maybe mine are just different idk. I also noticed that Han So Yun and her friend were drinking white wine. In most dramas leads drink red wine. So I thought that was pretty neat. Also anyone notice how amazing the OST is? I mean I actually love it so much. The songs are beautiful.Last but not least is that these love realizations were QUICK. Like it only took 4 episodes for Go Nan Do to realized he liked Han So Yun. anyways it's late so I'll continue watching later unless I get bored and can't sleep.
Edit 1- Okay so I just finished the first episode and when it comes to casting I think they did perfect for Baek Ha Ri! She's a beautiful,talented actor,and an amazing singer. For Jae Min I think he is an amazing actor but I just keep looking at his uneven bangs. He looks better with his hair back but since he's playing a high school student I can see why that wouldn't be an option (edit So in one episode he does have his hair back and I loved it while it lasted). Also I think he has abs but idk. The OST is good but it repeats a few times. The story line is if I remember correctly is following the WEBTOON...for the most part.
Edit 2- Okay so in episode 2 is where it slowly starts to drift away from the original WEBTOON but honestly I don't think it's going in a bad way. I love the WEBTOON version but so far I don't mind this way either. Also I'm having serious second male lead syndrome :0
Edit-3 Okay okay. So I don't remember much of the beginning of the episode because I had to pause for therapy but the end I thought was cute. They finally got the band together. The song was good and fun to dance to. I still have SMLS (Second male lead syndrome) but i'll be fine. The kiss was alright. It was like every Korean kiss. Just a touch of the lips.
Edit 4- Oh my goodness I- Okay so I might have died a little when Second male lead burned. I couldn't stop crying. Another thing is wth. I remember when Jae Min found out Baek Ha Ri was a vampire he got pissed. And I remember the other band members didn't mind. Also there wasn't a light house. And he definitely did not lose his memory.
Edit 5- Ughh I knew right from the start I will not like this episode. I am not a fan of historic dramas! I knew there was going to be a little bit of it going into it so I thought I would try but...no I can't do it. There are some parts I found cool but they were so short! It wasn't even worth watching. I will skip this episode. I don't know if there are present time parts in this episode but i'll leave that to you to find out.

Edit 7- Oh my goodness episode 10 is my favorite so far. I really liked this episode. I'm going to leave why up to you. Okay but one reason is because my man Han Shi Hoo is back! I love him. And I just saw he isn't second lead and that he's main so that makes my heart happy.
Edit 8- Okay. So I again don't remember much of the first part of episode 11 but the end was cute. Jae Min's hair is still uneven but it's a good uneven. And with Han Shi Hoo I love him so much he's my favorite character but now I see him as like a brother to Baek Ma Ri. I would be happy if he ended up with that one girl with the "tomato juice" .
Edit 9- Oh my gosh it's over :( Okay so the drama isn't all like the WEBTOON. Well some parts are the same but most of it is different. I plan to re read the WEBTOON because the drama reminded me how much I loved it. Jae Min was a bit of an ass when he didn't like vampires but that's okay. Han Shi Woo is still my favorite and I will be watching more dramas he's in. I'm so happy he was happy at the end and that he had loads of fans. I hope this isn't the only drama lol. The drama made me love the idea of a coed kpop band. I know there are a few groups (KARD) but I don't know many bands. I don't think there's any room for a season 2 but I wouldn't mind seeing one. Also I think the drama could've done without the historical type parts but I guess it's okay. This was really fun and I would love to see your guys thoughts on the drama so let me know! Edit 1- I just finished episode one and so far I don't mind the story line. It's kinda like friends with benefits but they're known to be publicly dating.
Edit 2- I just finished the second episode and I'm starting to fall for the main leads a lot. I learned they aren't friends with benefits but they're pretty close. I also had my guesses that that one girl liked Hana and not Mugi but I didn't think it was true! So far so good.
Edit 3- Hmmm episode 3 felt short. I don't know if it was actually short or not but that's besides the point. I felt awkward when Hanabi and Mugi were laying in bed together but that could just be me. I still love their relationship and I was heart broken when they fought. Also Hanabi could totally be a detective lol.
Edit 4- OH HO HO! Okay the teacher is so scary! Like what the heck! Why does she want to see people suffer? I hate the teacher so much but I guess that means she's doing her job perfectly.
Edit 5- AHHH OK OK. SO I SKIPPED MOST OF THE BEGINNING BECAUSE IT BROKE MY HEART TO SEE MUGI AND HANABI WITH OTHER PEOPLE BUT THAT'S OK BECAUSE AT THE END THEY WANTED TO BE WITH EACH OTHER MORE THAN BEFORE! I CAN'T I LOVE THEM! THIS WAS MY FAVORITE EPISODE JUST BECAUSE OF THE END WHEN THEY "EAT LUNCH TOGETHER"
Edit 6- Ughhh I love Mugi and I love Hanabi but Hanabi was TAINTED! That poor girl is just looking to love and the guy she likes gets taken and slept with by another women! I want her to date Mugi but not for the wrong reasons!
Edit 7- My thoughts when things or lines were said/done. "I wonder what it's like to kiss someone you love." Me-"THEN KISS MUGI!" When she's about to do it with the one dude she saw at the place with her teacher . "OH MY GOD NOOO! GET YOURSELF TOGETHER HANABI! WRONG GUY IF YOU DIDN'T NOTICE!" When she was kiss Mugi "YES GIRL FINALLY YOU FOUND HIM! WHAT TOOK SO LONG!" When the girl interrupted their kiss "GIRL WHY! IT WAS JUST GETTING GOOD!" So yeah lots of yelling.
Edit 8- Okay so this episode gave me mixed emotions. Most of the episode I was friggen mad because 1 Mugi didn't answer Hanabi's call. 2 Mugi kissed that girl, 3 Hanabi made the stick into the trash bin. But at the same time it made me so happy! Mugi realized that girl is more like a little sister. Hanabi and Mugi are going to confess and that could bring more good things rather than bad and last but not least Idk but I hope Hanabi will stop seeing that one guy.
Edit 9- I KNEW IT! I WAS HAVING TROUBLE WATCHING THE END AND I THOUGHT ABOUT JUST GOING TO THE NEXT EPISODE AFTER WRITING THIS BUT I DECIDED TO WAIT IT OUT AND WATCH IT AND NOW I'M MAD! I'M SO MAD AT MUGI! HE JUST LEFT HER! SHE WAITED FOR TWO HOURS! TWO HOURS I SAY! UGHHH IT WAS FINALLY ABOUT TO PLAN OUT!
Edit 10- Y'ALL HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH TROUBLE I WAS HAVING TRYING TO WATCH THE END OF THE EPISODE! MY COMPUTER IS OLD I'M MAD ANYWAYS ON TO THE EPISODE.Watching this episode made me so mad at both the girls trying to get with my Mugi and Hanabi! Poor them getting tainted by people who are selfish! I'm glad Mugi was able to realize he could never change her but I don't like that he still loves her (I don't know if he was talking about Hanabi or the teacher because I kinda skipped it but I think it's the teacher) anyways I'm proud of Hanabi realizing what she was doing with that girl was bad so good fer her! I'm proud

Final Edit- YOU'RE KIDDING! I SPENT 6 AND A HALF HOURS WATCHING THIS! AND WHAT HAPPENS? THEY DON'T END UP TOGETHER! OH MY GOD! I WAS SO READY TO SEE THEM HAPPY TOGETHER WITH 50 CHILDREN AND HOLDING HANDS! I'M GLAD HANABI GOT FRIENDS BUT STILL- ALSO I LOVE THE WAY HANABI SAYS MUGI'S NAME! I MEANT TO SAY THAT IN THE FIRST EDIT BUT DID LOL.
I'm so angry. Also I found out that yes Mugi was in another drama I watch! He was a supporting role for Good Morning Call! I plan to watch more of him! Anyways let me know your thoughts on the drama.
