CLW is for silly people like me!

SOO... when I said to people: I will watch CLW (Cupid's Last Wish) they were like "It's bad", but let me tell you the truth: I think people were still in A Tale of Thousand Stars.

I understand since this was the second series of EarthMix as a couple, and people were with high expectations since ATOTS was a fucking masterpiece, but CLW it's not bad. It's not something FUCKING GOOD AND MEMORABLE like ATOTS, it's a rom-com, and with fantasy. The main point here is being funny and silly, and they did this Very Well. I have so much fun watching this. It was so enjoyable and fun. It's body-switching but in a funny way, not in a hard and sad, so it's great! I don't like body-switching but as I said, it's so fun!

About the acting, Earth (Korn) and Mix (Win) are good, as always, they are good actors. But for me, who really caught my attention was Jan. Her acting was AMAZING as Win and Lin. I already knew her but damn, she's incredible! She's so underrated and that's so sad. She's like, amazing. For real.

The soundtrack it's so good and funny, I loved it.

Cupid's Last Wish is a funny rom-com and what I say is: Don't watch with expectations. Actors can do very different roles with very different plots, that's literally acting. But if you don't like rom-com and are expecting something deeper, go watch another title. CLW is for silly people like me!

The ending that The Eclipse story needed.

It's so beautiful. I agree that their fight was childish, but they are so young after all. I mentioned in my The Eclipse review that something was missing but maybe the Our Skyy will make that ending. And yes, I was right. It's adorable seeing them growing up in their relationship. It was a little, just a little, bitter, but life is like this. Makes sense.

When I finished The Eclipse, I really missed seeing more about their relationship, and this special delivered me what I want: Seeing them as a couple, for real, without the Suppalo's problems, just them. They have a healthy but obviously teen relationship, and that is beautiful.

And the OST is very cute. I will miss them a lot.

It's a really good story, with good production, and good actors. Almost a 10.

This series is a masterpiece, as a person who watched other OffGun works, I was really curious since one of my friends love this series. And God, he was so right.

OffGun as SeanWhite was amazing, the intimacy, I feel like I was in the middle of something that I shouldn't. Their acting was SO GOOD, and everyone knows that Gun is incredible, but it was the first time that Off really make me shocked by his acting skills.

Gun was absolutely perfect for the twins, the way that he acts for each twin it's so detailed. And especially for Black, bcs White still has some sweetness which is totally Gun, but Black... He was Black.

The only reason that I gave 9.5/10 and not just a 10, was bcs Dan and Yok. I fucking hate their arc, and I fucking hate Dan. Yok forgave him, but NOT ME. I hate cops so much and men too all they do is lie. And I didn't like the acting of Fluke (Dan), he did a "good job", but I found so superficial, but First (Yok) amazing acting totally saved the day.

In resume: This so much more than a simple romance series, though they don't "represent" me, bcs I don't see myself directly in the characters, I deeply connected with them, with their feelings. It was really impressive.

It's a really good story, with good production, and good actors. Almost a 10.

Sensitive and fun. A whole mix of emotions!

It's a very interesting story, and differently from most GMMTV series, it's about an already established couple and also, a couple of adults.

This series is not exactly about their development as a couple (though they do have some development), but more as individuals. How they can grow together, heal their traumas (and ofc, this does affect the growth of their relationship).

It's very well made OMG THE COSTUMES 🤏🏻 it's sooo cute, their clothes were like adorable. Every set was so cutely decorated.

And everyone delivered SUCH good acting. Seriously, ofc it has to be Santa doing Sun/Solar bcs who else has this boyish-ness like him? I wouldn't buy it if it were anyone else. This character was MADE for him. Perth is such a good actor too.

It's a beautiful storyline, but it does have some… holes? In the narrative. Some things are left without proper development. It's still enjoyable but I can't ignore it.

But definitely very well made and the struggles with mental health were addressed properly and with care. I do wish that they would have had more of the psychiatrist and therapists, though.

PieGolf deserves the world.

I loved them sooo much, like Tiger is really such a loverboy. It's so funny and cute that a mafia is so silly and in love.

I didn't think that I would love them so much... but Oh My God. Pie (Tiger) and Golf (Nao) are such a delightful surprise! They're such good actors, the mannerisms, the quirks. Perfectly developed characters, I'm so eager to see them together on-screen again!

And it's sooooo cute. Probably the cutest lovey-dovey of the whole Fourever You project?

I loved them, I loved Nao's family, they're so warm and cute. Like Nao grew up with so much love... that's why he has so much to share with Tiger, giving him a warm home. It's adorable.

I do wish that it was more... developed, I guess? I felt like the narrative got stuck for such a long time on some problems that, towards the end, it felt a little bit rushed. It wasn't unpleasant, but it's what made the series a 7.5 and not a 9, to me.

Typhoon is so cute OMG my cutie pie!!! I was like GOOD TAKE HIS PAIN AWAY DOUBLE IT AND GIVE IT TO HIS FATHER.

He is so cute... Tonliew is so so so adorable, and the cuteness of the character feels so natural, well, bcs it IS! He's naturally adorable (and so tiny omg). I loved their chemistry, how sweet and gentle their whole relationship is.

The acting is SO amazing. But obviously, the star here is Tonliew as Typhoon. The way that he portrayed raw emotions, grief, panic. He gave in fully for the character and it was so freaking good. Like... I want him booked and busy. He's so talented.

Also how funny is that the moment that New steps back from directing, suddenly the quality is SO MUCH better. He's so fucking bad as a director, really, it amazes me...

My deducting points tho are because I think that the story should've been more... smooth. It feels abrupt, the transition from extremely angsty to suddenly cuteness and a giddy world. Ofc, it makes sense, partially, with Typhoon's personality. Even while facing the HORRORS, he's still sweet and docile, gentle and smiley. He's so strong.

But even while partially making sense, it feels a little... unrealistic? Too quick! One moment he was scared of being close to Tonfah and then suddenly he wanted him back without fearing it much. I understand that his friends encouraged him but still... some details just feel like little story holes.

Whatever, this doesn't make the experience of watching bad. Not at all, it's such a sweet and gentle story. But ofc, for people who like HEAVY DRAMA... that's not what you will get. It's gentle, healing, soft and sweet. Yeah, there is some angst but the whole series is definitely not about that.

I'm super excited to see more of BeverTonliew!

The fanservice it’s not serving! Waiter, I wanted more!

It doesn't add much to the plot, or the series as a whole, which is expected since it's a special (and one focused on a specific couple!)

It doesn't exactly develop them as a couple either, it's more a fanservice special. Which is NOT a problem at all! But, since it's fanservice… I would have liked more if it had more yk, service!

But it's cute and quick and lovely! It's totally skippable, but it's also not unpleasant to watch!

JohanNorth MEAL

OHHH GOD! I have a lot to say!

We have 2 main couples here, and 2 hints about two other couples that are having their arcs aired now (as the time that I’m writing this). But, let’s focus on the couples of this season and on the main points that I like to touch in my reviews!

The story itself is a little… I can't say that it's strong! The first 6-7 episodes are SO BORING, and that's totally because HillTer are… insufferable. I kept watching bcs my friend already warned me: If you pass the first 6 episodes, believe me, it's going to get fun! And she was right!

What I didn't like in HillTer story is that it just goes round and around. If they just… SIT and properly talk in maybe episode 2, the problem would be gone and by episode 3 they would already be dating. I also personally don't enjoy miscommunication plots, but this one specifically is insufferable… I also didn't like the flashbacks bcs as I said: it goes round and around and we are still getting into NOTHING. It moves so slow and repetitive!

Then, we get to JohanNorth… and that's, my friend, when it gets FUN! Well, honestly, their story itself feels a little confused and rushed, then later it makes more sense but still… it does have some little holes in the story and when I think about the storyline alone… it's weird. But OH MY GOD.

MaxkyBas chemistry is out of this planet. And their kisses are FIRE. It's been a long time since I saw such hungry kisses and it was amazing. What totally saves their arc is how they're such good actors and have such a strong chemistry that you are convinced by their story in the end, even if it's not very rational.

PondEarth are also great actors! It's just that I didn't like their characters much, and most of the time I have to admit that Earth's character was a little annoying…

The directing, in general, as expected of New Siwaj, is awful. Not his worst work, definitely, but it's the same thing as P10L or A Boss and a Babe: the amazing cast saves the day.

It's fun and enjoyable to watch! I'm definitely on my way to continue watching and go for season 2 now!

Waste of chemistry

I can't believe that I just found out how insane GreatInn chemistry is after they're already divorced!!!

Jokes apart, they're both insane good actors and their chemistry was amazing. Which for me, basically carries this series.

I think it's fun, cute! It's not a bad series, definitely not! And also their spreading awareness about STIs, kinks and sexuality exploration, multiple letters of LGBTQIA+ is just amazing! Also them staying LOYAL to Dee being purple and Yoryak being yellow even in lighting and scene setup is amazing!

I really like P'Golf and how she always goes to sensitive queer themes. But overall, I can't say that Wandee Goodday has good screenwriting. The direction is actually pretty okay, the problem is the story. The characters are underdeveloped, especially Dr. Dee. Also, the story basically goes nowhere in a lot of episodes… It's just… messy? And boring, a lot of times. Which is upsetting since it did have so much potential.

Oye and Cher are cute and ThoFluke chemistry is SOOO GOOODDD but also not developed too. It ends up being a little messy and confusing.

Unfortunately everyone did GreatInn dirty, potential deeply wasted… It's such a shame.

I feel bad bcs it's obvious how much the cast and the crew were doing their everything for the series, it does have some touches of care that come clearly from a team that loves what they're doing… it just didn't happen.

The music is insane though, the original soundtrack is just BOP after BOP.

PS.; It’s funny how you can easily tell what year it was just from watching the series, GMM style changings through the years are so funny.

I love their perspective about love, grief and guilt

It's an emotional story about love for cats, love, grief, guilt and family. In all his failures and imperfect ways. It's relatively calm and composed when compared with FirstKhao's other series (and it was literally their wish). It's still emotionally developed and very on brand for them, but a lot less rollercoaster of emotions.

I loved it in general, it's about grief and it's well done, I just have some points: I wish that the mom and son thing were more developed, bcs we don't really understand what exactly made mother and son fall a little apart, where exactly was the moment or thing that this happened. Also, the whole show has those little plot holes here and there, but overall it's not that unpleasant.

It's beautiful, and the acting, I don't even need to talk about it right? Fresh Arisara is one of the most brilliant actors of her generation. I wish that she would just do every show in Thailand bcs she's brilliant. FirstKhao alwayyyyys delivers and Satang is also amazing.

A good watch! Also I love the cats, I just really wish that they would play a bigger role in the whole thing. WE LOVE YOU BABY JUMBO. I also love my diva Jennie.

Oh and AJ who is there playing the same character for the 1939 time. And I eat it everytime.

What a waste of time!

To be honest, I hate almost everything about this series. The acting is mid, the screenwriting is horrible, and there is zero character growth. Please don't tell me that Teerak learning to say 'no' or Muengfah controlling his anger counts as growth. bcs it DOESN'T.

Teerak is insufferable, Muengfah is boring, and the plot is 90% filler. Like how a whole series is a filler? Idk, they invented a new genre at this point.

The only saving grace for me was RealHia. AuauSave served a full meal while I was suffering! I only endured this show because of them. I’ll be sticking to TikTok for their scenes in the special episodes because nothing could make me sit through three more hours of the lead couple. I also love TeeteePor, but even their storyline was dull.

I love ThomasKong as personalities, but their acting here was rough. I really hope they’ve improved since this filmed, because this was hard to watch.

Don't waste your time.

Lazy screenwriting and stupid plots

I just really feel sad for the actors who are AMAZING, cute patooties, and deserved better characters. Well, let's go. My reviews are always structured by: screenwriting, directing, and acting (while touching on other points in the middle).

It's one of the worst screenplays ever, and it's disappointing because their screenwriting team (they are from a crew) is one of the best, and the people involved were some of my favorite artists in this field. That’s probably why it's so unsettling to me that they were so lazy with this script.

"Boys in Love" doesn’t really have conflicts. Which is not necessarily the problem, it’s weird for a Y-series, but it’s NOT the problem. The problem is that you don’t see development or growth in any of the characters. They start the series and end the series THE SAME, which is a big problem for a series that was supposed to talk about growth, falling in love as a teenager, and the conflicts that come with it (like choosing your career path, dealing with frustrations, etc.).

The main couple, KitShane, was so badly handled. Like… everything was rushed, they get together so early, and then NOTHING relevant happens. KimMon was INSUFFERABLE, and I feel bad for Aston (Mon) to have to play such an idiot. ALL OF THEIR fights were stupid, and not silly like teens fighting, it was plain stupid, and I don’t think they grew out of it during the series. The only fun thing for me in the teens was the couple that wasn’t even a real couple in the series, PerTar (they are hinted but they don't really happen). They were pretty funny, and Tar was my favorite character. He was so funnyyyy. AND PODDPAPANG, I LOVED IT. OLD MAN YAOI. I just feel sad that they weren’t better developed.

Their acting was amazing… especially Luke (Kit). He was a good surprise to me since I didn’t know what to expect. Chokun (Kim) is also amazing, but I already knew my boy. Aston (Mon) was such a good surprise to me. KenPaul were adorable in their little screentime. Podd and Papang, amazing as ALWAYS. Such a good crew for such a BORING series, it makes me a little sad.

At least the series was BEAUTIFULLY filmed. The scenes, scenarios, AMAZING, as always. Parbdee Studios are THE BEST. Everything was cute and beautiful. The directing was okay, but with that script, not even a miracle would save it.

Boring. It would be a 4 if I didn’t like the boys so much.

We Are dolphins singing Symphony

It's plain happiness. It feels like we're dolphins and we're all singing Symphony by Zara Larsson together bcs it's really plain happiness. They don't have actual problems, maybe a little miscommunication but it's like, 20 minutes long, everything is simple and funny. If you want something to LOVE LAUGH LIVE, that's the series. It's just... how can you have 4 main couples, 1 hinted couple, and still, be so... empty? Also, it's unfair that ChainPun doesn't have development bcs in SIXTEEN episodes (really, for WHAT?) they have 2 proper scenes of them. TanFang and QToey being funny and cute saves the show bcs the main couple was so fucking boring... enemies to lovers? Like in the first opportunity, they're already sucking each other faces.

Well, about the couples:
- PhumPeem (PondPhuwin): Boring... cute, but still boring. Points for Phuwin meowing. Points for them being the first BL couple that I watched who really have a flirting stage. They have a normal couple development but considering all the time that it took... it was a little too much?
- TanFang (AouBoom): SO FUCKING FUNNY they carried the show along with QToey, but they were very underdeveloped. Like you blink and they're together out of nothing.
- QToey (WinnySatang): Surprisingly, the best development between all the couples. They're the only of all of them who really have a history and reasons.
- ChainPun (MarcPoon): They didn't have screentime at all but when they appeared, it was fun. JUSTICE FOR THEM!

In resume: Sixteen episodes with basically every couple with bad development and hours of filler episodes where PhumPeem was just flirting when you could take that time to make proper character constructions. It's not a bad series, fr, it's funny and it's enjoyable. But it does have BIG screenplay holes, and it's such basic things that it just feels that they did a very lazy job. They really don't have proper problems and things like that, so, if you just want happiness, you will like it. But on a technical point: it's a LAZY screenwriting job. Like so fucking lazy.

It's incredible, beautiful, and full of deep meanings.

The plot is simple but beautiful. I love when BL series have protagonists older, since the majority of them are with people in their twenties, queer people exist in all ages and we don't have so much representation of older queer people.

Since it's a Japanese work, they tend to follow 2 paths: Very camp or more melancholy. This is a little melancholy, but just a little, and in some points about age, life, and work. In general, it's refreshing.

Both actors are extremely good, their performance was amazing and intense. It looks so real.

The photography it's beautiful, it's probably one of the most beautiful confession scenes that I have ever seen, both aesthetically and in the dialogue.

That's such an work of art.

it's simple and lovely

IT'S SO FUCKING CUTE AND SILLY AND LOVELY AND EVERYTHING TO MEEEE.

I love it when a series it's silly. They know they are silly. And they do a great job of being silly and proud to be silly. And they are very proud.

It's not a deep plot, it's actually a cliché. Enemies to friends to lovers, and it's cute and funny! I liked how even with just 8 episodes with 30 minutes each, they are actually developed. Not only as a couple but as individuals too.

And, the acting was so on point. Seobin (Jaeyoon) and Jiwoong (Hojoon) are really good actors, and their chemistry is amazing.

And ofc, I have to say: THE KISS???????? OMG that was a kiss. A very kissy kiss. Hojoon was hungry. Damn...

Sometimes, less is more. And it's exactly why Roommates of Poongduck 304 is so good: It's simple, but they work with what they have. They didn't try to make it look like something grand, it's just simple. And way too good.
