maybe I'm influenced by how it's set in the 90s, but any of the male leads in the Reply series would be perfect, specifically Seo In Guk, Park Bo Gum, or Yoo Yeon Seok

Watch them cast a much more talented actor for second male lead with much more chemistry with Kim So Hyun. It happens way too often in her dramas (Suspicious Housekeeper, School 2015)

That mole next to her left eyebrow is a nice defining feature. It's how I recognized her in Memory. AND I guess it helps that the boy playing her older brother also played her brother in Suspicious Housekeeper
