I want to watch this but I'm scared because it is soooooo loooooong.
I'm fast forwarding from second half, watched it purely for the main leads. Honestly, half of the story focus too much on their work/life (but may be ok for people who enjoy slice of life to romance)
Short & nice drama, the plot is straightforward and not draggy. Story start off confusing as it starts from present. As you watch deeper into the eps, the story between the lead's past 5 years will unfold. Romance between leads are mature and sweet. ML is full of jealously for FL lol
Both lead met each again at a dinner function when she had to get a contract signed for her troupe. And then at a matchmaking date. (FL had a feeling that her date might be the ML, as the ID was 14/7 on the messenger - the date they met 5 yrs ago)
FL made the first move, but the ML had a motive for getting close to FL; to find a secret chip like coin linked to the crime 5 yrs ago (it had signaled that someone have opened the chip, and the GPS was located in her troupe company) Initially ML was hesitant to go deeper into their rs, so as to not hurt the FL. They broke up slightly after she knew his motive and also because of trust issues, but got back soon after. (thanks to the FL bestie for arranging the ML as her bodyguard)
The main antagonist behind the scheme appears near the ending. He has a crush on FL when he was a young boy, and he is the successor of the bad boss.
Just the right pace. No childish characters, silly misunderstanding & supportive SML, even though his love for FL wasn't reciprocate , there wasn't any scheming plot. And also enjoyed the scenes with Liang Chen and Lu Jing friend, they gave the story a humor side Lastly, I like that there wasn't any jealous friend that tried to sabotage the lead relationship
