I can’t think of any drama to compare this to as of yet since it’s only four episodes. I can assure you there’s nothing childish about this drama.

Omg, I'm loving this drama so let me break it down....

- Kim Soo Hyun is fine as hell. That is a beautiful man. I love the visuals, and he is the visual.
-I'm enjoying Kim Ji Won's character. The vibe I got from the first few episodes is that she still loves him and I know he still loves her he just doesn't know it yet.
- The family is a mess. It's so many subplots happening right now! I don't trust the grandfather's mistress. Every time his daughter calls her all kinds of names I be like " I know that's right, clock it". I can't remember what her name is but she works closely with the mother.. I didn't trust her from the start so I wasn't shocked to see her working with the evil 2nd ML. Side note: I think the 2nd ml and the mistress are working together or have some kind of history because that scene where they walked past each other stood out to me. It was their demeanor as they walked past each other it was weird something was off. And the sister in law is definitely up to no good. The question is, are they all working together?
- ummm the 2nd ML is going to drive me crazy. Not because of a love triangle because, it's one-sided Hae In does not like that man like that.
-I'm preparing myself for these next few episodes cause I feel like this is going to be a wild ride with everything brewing.

Overall like I said I'm loving this drama.

So sad, I have seen the male lead in other dramas and I really liked him but the response from the comments and the reviews is telling me I got to pass on this one.

ok, can someone help me out? I want to watch but I'm seeing comments about the FL not being so romantically involved with the ML... is this a one-sided love at episode 18 of 24? If not which episode do they start having feelings for each other? I'm looking for something light and a little fluffy with not a lot of misunderstandings or angst.

Yes, that’s the word to describe the vibe melancholy. I do like that the leads look normal and things like make-up and wardrobe aren’t overdone. Someone commented that the female lead changes jackets every episode and I still haven’t noticed because it’s just so normal.

I have a 4k 65 inch LG smart TV... I don't think that's the problem, LOL. I think the fact you turn your brightness all the way up may be the reason you don't see it. I don't get anything bright or fresh from this drama but I'm about to start ep. 4 so we'll see another commenter said it didn't get good until then.

well your opinion is a YOU thing, and I stand by what I said. This drama is darker in lighting than the director's previous work. However, you may be right that it fits the tone and vibe of the show because the show is slow, the ML is expressionless, and the girls in the comments are going crazy over him. I just finished episode 3 and I haven't seen anything swoon worthy yet.

I was told episode 19 but I haven't watched.

I feel the same way and I'm on episode 3. I'm praying it improves because everyone in the comments keeps mentioning the romance but I'm not feeling it. I have an issue with the lighting and the pace is kind of slow with not a lot of stuff happening in each episode to pull me in. I only watch romance dramas so maybe that's why I'm not impressed.

I wish this drama was as bright as the cover. I really can't get into the story because I don't like the cinema photography or should I say the lighting I wish it were brighter. The lighting in this drama is very dull and the snowy setting doesn't make it any better. More realistic doesn't necessarily mean darker, and I wish directors could understand that. However, I watched another drama by this director called here we meet again and it didn't have this problem. I'm going to continue watching for the romance but they're going to have to come hard to keep my interest with this lighting.

Very disappointing. I have a little crush on Leon Zhang and I was hoping to watch him in this since I haven’t been able to watch him in a lot of dramas he typically plays because I don’t like the storylines.

when you say bullshit what do you mean? I'm debating on starting this show or not. I don't like a lot of misunderstanding and I'm looking for something light and not to heavy. Also, I don't like slow burn... It's okay if the leads aren't together but I need to see some interest and initiative.

so once the FL left the lawfirm I started watching on fast forward because it was no saving this show from that point.

I got over that. My issue now is how slow minded the FL is. It took her half the show to figure out the lead liked her and now I've just started the part where the ML's admirer is about to play mind games with her, I guess. I just wish they would write better, stronger, and smarter female leads in Chinese dramas. The 2nd FL is always more competent than the weak mild-mannered FL. It's crazy to me that the FL was so awestruck by the 2nd FL all it took was some kind words for her to switch teams. so annoying.

I'm on episode 17 and I still can't get over the case from episode 15 I think it was. It was messed up for them to interfere with the mistress, wife, and daughter. It was clear the mistress wasn't a good person and that doing the test would only hurt the daughter who was the most genuine out of the situation. That situation bothered me and affects how I view the drama now. I was not expecting that to be the outcome so I hope they revisit this in later episodes.

It would’ve definitely helped and that’s why the writers made sure to let us know the female lead never spoke up about that part, because even they knew there little story would be over had she opened her mouth about the cheating. It would put in perspective the possibility the girl is lying. The FL has the photo and text message as proof but she let her pride get in the way or the writers didn’t allow it because them What would the story be?
