You are on point! Being a kdrama/jdrama/twdrama fan for so so many years, the first time I watched lakorn, it felt so new and fresh to me. My first lakorn was Princess Hours which was not so new to me since it was a remake. But there was some force that drove me to watch more lakorns and then the supposed to be “nothing-else-to-watch” moment to me opened so many doors to watch more lakorns. And eventually I became so invested with this slap and kiss genre type of lakorn. Sometimes, it’s kind of annoying watching the evil and vile nang rai/pra rong or the roller coaster love story and misunderstandings between the nang ek/pra ek or the cliche last few episodes (gun shot, death of other characters, kidnapping, etc), but still I end up finishing the lakorn. Also, after watching historical or period lakorns, I tend to appreciate more the thai culture. It was so unique from other asian dramas. I love how they value their religion, customs and family traditions. I feel so immersed with their culture. The down side of being a regular lakorn watcher is that you should wait for the hardworking fan subbers subbed the lakorn you want to watch which is not a big issue for me since I am so thankful that they devoted their time in subbing all the lakorns. Thank you for this article and watch out for more lakorns. 2019 is going to be more exciting!
Where can i find the episode 14-23? Muse said is not available in my country. I need to get over with this lakorn so that i can already move on. The drama is promising and not dragging.
Ugh! This is so painful to watch!! If they could have done better with the story and the characters. The premise is interesting but now it’s ruined because of the characters.
I like the premise of this lakorn but i don’t like how they build each character. The real nang rai is sooo crazy bitch to the point that it is already inappropriate.
I started this yesterday and I’m hooked! At first I didn’t get what this drama was really about (it’s not…
Thank you for your encouragement. Started watching earlier today and I’m on episode 6 already. The story itself makes you want to dig in their past. Can’t believe there are such issues that korea is facing.
The genre is not my cup of tea but I have read a lot of great reviews about this drama. And just read that this is the highest rated cable drama of all time. What are the elements that this kdrama make special and worth watching?
As the title sounds very romantic already lol. The lakorn itself has really cute scenes between PraNang. The chemistry…
I can’t get over with this lakorn. I totally agree, the title sounds romantic. The kissing scenes are cringe-worthy. It feels so romantic when you watched Louis kissing Stephany. Their glare and stares are so full of emotion.
Thank you for this article and watch out for more lakorns. 2019 is going to be more exciting!
