Not gonna lie, after watching multiple fantasy C-drama, the plot tend to be repetitive, but this one fingercrossed…
Glad it wasn't just me! I struggled to connect with him at first, but Ep 8 was a total game-changer. He really nailed the character's energy there. That solo fight scene was absolute fire! The only thing that felt a bit off for me was that wavy hairstyle in the front. It feels a little bulky and doesn’t quite flatter his face shape, although he still looks good! I’m really hoping they refine his styling a bit in the upcoming eps.
Whoever wrote this script seriously wasted a story that had so much potential. It started strong, but quickly turned into a frustrating mess that got worse with every episode. Calling it Our Universe feels misleading when the entire plot is dragged down by pointless, exhausting love triangles that nobody asked for. If the goal was to center the story around that, they should’ve just titled it Her First Love and saved everyone’s time. Using the male lead and the baby as side elements just feels like a letdown for viewers. Without the aegi and samchon moments, many people probably would have dropped the show. It’s frustrating to see so much time wasted on a second lead with no chemistry and a female lead who comes across as a constant red flag, always acting innocent and playing the victim. Honestly, skipping them made the show far more bearable. Overall, it’s disappointing to see such strong initial potential turn into a frustrating watch.
To add to others’ responses — think of this technology as more of AR (Augmented Reality) instead of pure VR…
that means they still have to wear VR glasses all the time in Game setting, right? but even though wearing glasses, they still can see each other faces like in person without glasses look in VR?
my 1st ever Japanese actor.... How can be a man so handsome and beautiful at the same time? His eyelashes got me jealous hahaaa.... I'm rooting for you Ryusei Kun~
Since original novel is BL , main leads will be only 2 persons. But the main character is Zhang Ping. The story about him like start from poor scholar to become minister with the help of LanJue. This is based on original novel. But i think in this drama, script will be changed because the cast of LanJue is Jing Boran. So we can see the bromance chemistry between 2 main leads. Song Weilong and Jing Boran.
I think it’s not like only men with swords. According to storyline, they will solve together the mysterious issue with brain. It’s like historical detective. So i think yes, men with swords but also with brains. Zhang Ping character is so interesting like slowly transform from the poor scholar to become a minister.
Is it true? I really don't like song wei long acting. In a class of her own wang ruichang and be wenjujn is better…
wow... Ju jingyi also looks weird with her girly full makeup at in a class of her own especially when she needs to pretend like a man in the storyline... it looks so unreal even though her acting is quite good... Let's wait for their another project and i believe SWL will definitely nail it...
