okay you guys! this show has FINALLY ended. not gonna lie, with the previous 3-4 episodes disappointing me, i had zero expectations for this to end well. but honestly, like REALLY honestly, this was not bad at all. i'd even say it's an 8/10.
after a long time this series had something in it to make me smile. and i'm glad they didn't do stupid shit to get into jail, i'd say it was a pretty solid idea. firstkhao hats off, cause goddamn. that was amazing. joongdunk well, let me get this off my chest.
dunk can't kiss for the life in him. there. i said it. joong is trying so hard alright, and they look fine doing it. but jeez it looks so off, so ermmmm. favourite thing about it though is joong smiling into the kiss, cause the man is beautiful. i would say dunk's acting in the restaurant reveal scene was actually the best i've ever seen from him, applause for that. kudos to the stylist for dunk too, he was slaying all his outfits.
the northern lights and firstkhao, it was beautiful. but i was quite fixated on the fact that it was a greenscreen to take it seriously. sorry not sorry. the mother scene, uh, it was fine? there was no thrill to it like i expected. she tried to be a big bad wolf but ended up listening to them? she could've simply manipulated them more if she really was as manipulative as they make her to be. did not enjoy that part much.
to wrap this up, i'm glad this series is over. i won't miss it cause it wasn't my favourite. but i appreciate everyone's efforts in making this series' cinematography as beautiful as it is (except for the iceland greenscreen haha)
7/10 episode. uhhh at this point, they rushed the mother-issue like they did for their fears. ain't nobody who "hated" their parent is gonna forgive them just because of some sugary words from their partner. plot was quite a no-brainer in this show anyway. honestly though, i didn't expect anything great either. the fluff was nice, perthsanta as always acted so well, i love their screen presence, both together and individually. auoboom too, wow, their chemistry is amazing.
but i have to add that this episode seemed so corny at some parts, especially the kisses at the bar, and gun's overly naive attitude towards klao-wa in the bathroom. like boy are you serious right now? you just did the stuff with yotha in y'all's PARENT's house. nah bro, not a fan of naivety from a character who's suddenly emotionally mature to advice someone on mommy-issues.
even forcebook crumbs were corny at parts. force please, can we have another expression from you than nonchalance, grumpy or smirk TOT. and book's character being exaggerated as always, sigh. i love silly-billies but i think i'm growing out of it.
as a person who skipped their story in cherry-magic, i'm not that excited about juniormark as i was for forcebook or perthsanta, but i'll be watching when i get time. i hope their story proceeds without major blunders and fumbles.

everything is so well planned, gentle, soft, and just so pure bro i can't TOT maybe because i'm the same age as Thame, it just made me feel more single. BUT IT WAS SO SO ADORABLE. FLUFF OF THE YEAR JUST FOR THIS EPISODE AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
the episode was.... fine? i mean. i was not hooked, tried to forward through it cause well, nothing seemed too interesting. genuinely first, khao, joong have done so well. i'm still not a fan of dunk, sorry not sorry. he's okay. watchable, ig, but his performance was still below average for me.
some scenes were just so uhhhh. also the slurpy sounds during fadelstyle's kiss was a major "0-0 wtf is this" moment for me. the kiss was fine, i mean, i just wish those sloppy sounds were toned down. also the camera cuts and jumps were so overdone at some places. i kinda felt that the initial 5-6 episodes were so much better than whatever we have right now.
the only scene i genuinely "aw-ed" at is when firstkhao waddled over in those jumbo spacesuits, haha that was cute.
the crying scenes i didn't feel anything, might as well have laughed at it. also the preview for the next episode seemed like they were adding more "plot" when it's literally the last episode. like be fr right now, just get this over with TOT like a normal show. why add more stuff when it's only going to be rushed?

Ignoring the unnecessary hate in the comment section, I loved the whole yotha gun arc and especially this episode…
i personally believe that novel readers should start to learn to distinguish between the novel and the series. especially when the episodes are being cut short to just 8. each has their own beauty to it. i'm not a novel reader myself, but from experience with other adaptations, i find it better when it is not the exact same copy of the original. cause then what's the point? just watch the original with subtitles, haha.

okay i watched this episode with scrutinizing eyes cause honestly i was starting to nitpick yotha for a while.
things i liked: 1. the word 'sorry' from yotha's mouth. 2. INSANE perth-santa chemistry 3. cutie aouboom (though half of aou's beatings did not make much sense to me) 4. gun saying he wants a real reason than "cause you're so cute" cause GO BESTIE! i legit paused when yotha said "beagle is cute, why should i not love him?" cause THAT AINT A REASON!!! 5. CRUMBS OF ARCARM CAUSE im a sucker of forcebook please let me be a fangirl, i love i loved how the magnets connected.
things i did not like: 1. THE GODDAMNED PACING. why did we overcome yotha and gun's fear in a span of MERE minutes!? also why did aou even get beaten up? ALSO why was yotha forgiven just like that at the mall. Gun please, at least keep him on his toes for a while before forgiving him, AAAAA.
2. the nc scene was unnecessary. beat me for it, i don't care. they could've kept that for the end of next episode, would've made more sense. at least let yotha pursue gun for a whole episode like. nah man, it irked me. as chemistry-fied perth-santa is, they can't be carrying the baggage of RUSHED episodes. i'm glad they're so good at their art, if it were some crappy actors, i would've dropped this months ago.
3. yotha's hair length changing every few seconds. like i get it, it was filmed in pieces, it's a lot of months of effort and work. but this just irked me so much.
