he faced a trauma and passed it to ko mija's family. he treated them like a trash for 20 years, spitting in front of them and getting violent. yes, he was acting like that way because it was his way of coping but you cant make it as your reason to give others too a trauma and a hard time. the person he was blaming is innocent and also affected, he was giving a hard time already to ko mija to the point that even ko mija couldn't mourn for her best friend and couldn't mentioned her best friend's name for 20 years, she felt guilt although she shouldnt have to. that's speak a lot of his character regardless he faced such trauma or not.
