Ok, so i tried watching ep1 when it had just aired on youtube but dropped due to the subtitles, have been hearing good things about it and found better subtitles so i am going to give it a chance again, currently finishing ep 1 right now and liked how she handled her ex bf , so am going to continue and later on review again.

One of the reasons am scared

I fear for the romance, after ep 5 cause it looks like the 2nd fl is the 1st love of the ml.
2. It looks like 2nd fl had a fling with 2nd ml
3. Now it also looks like the 2nd ml may like the fl .
As in this is a serious love square

The next ep is going to be fire, though ep 6 was also well executed. I mean one minute am laughing , next am shouting and the other am crying. Such a lovely show

Why the low rating, action and acting was well done. And as a fun of the witch franchise, i think they did a pretty good job

The drama is pretty good 8.5/10 from me. I have an issue though what type of doctor was dr. Fahlada, she was everywhere at once.
Also the acting and production was good but the issue was the weak plot it was not solid enough , like they forgave each other way too easily e.g the Dr forgiving Earn, Earn forgiving the Dr and how the mother was forgiven easily. ( not saying it is a bad thing to forgive easily but as i said it made the plot weak) maybe due to the few number of episodes but overall it was a good drama . One of the best of 2024.

Though i have never read the novel, i do realise the characters in the show come off way lighter than their original form in the novel. Though the cast has done a great job so far, giving it a solid 8. I donno about the physician though

I personally understand the issue of his character and principles him refusing to kill li yiyang after like 2 instances i.e at the beginning after li yiyang arranged an assassination and the 2nd time when the ml was arrested . This makes the ml seem very unwise as in come on would you forgive some one who run you over with a car, shot youand starved in prison. It is just not serious of him and what am personally saying is that am disappointed. On ep 10 now .

1. All problems would have been solved earlier if the ml just killed li yiang earlier on, and seriously is he weak or strong cause that li yiang guy is able to fight against him, yet he is just human, it os so annoying.
2. On ep 9 and all the ml does is threaten, everyone is saying it is a nice drama but is kinda mid especially with all the chinese regulations so the vampire isn't vampiring to me😔😅😅.
3. All in all am watching for the fl, i just like her in this drama, maybe it's the eyes🤣.
4. Another issue is many seeing chemistry which makes me doubt if we are watching the same drama. The ml looks old to me so am just not seeing the chemistry. Dropping my rating to 7.5 may improve later on.

I donno why my subtitles are kinda difficult to understand, that is the problem i have with mango tv dramas poor subtitles
