New crush unlocked : CHECK. Apart of the phenomenal performances the Main Leads delivered, the story was really really good. I was immersed in the first seconds. I loooooooved FL character so much. She knew what she wanted and I highly appreciate that. I loved to see the life at court, how to deal with hidden powers that try to tear you down. Her secret identity was a trope really well excuted. I also really liked how the romance wasn't the main topic here. It was secondary like really though everytime theu were together I was screaaaaaaaming... Though, for me the down part was towards the middle, it dragged a lot especially when she was rescuing I don't remember who in a mine ? Though the begginning and ending were really atonishing. I AM TRAUMATIZED by this movie. I cried so much. It was so hard to watch sometimes that I hardly/bearly stood it. I even put it on pause to breath through the HELL that happened. It was even worse when I heard it was based on a true story... My heart bleeds for these children... The movie was really realistic and for that reason I hated the ending. Bc it mirrored how our society deals with sexual assualt on children not to say the R and the P words. The ending was really heartbreaking and unfair. First I hated the movie for what it made me feel. Especially a scene I still make nightmares about. This haunts me, it is truly engraved in my memory even though I want to erase it because of the cruelty it portrays. Though, as time went by, I changed my mind. Easy watch. I saw plenty of similar plotline and I went through the same frustrations as usual. Dragged too much for 8 episodes but at the same time the development in their relationship was too quick ? I wanted to see more of their relationship and I dont like when they clear things between them in the last episode... Enjoyable because secret crush is my soft spot but nothing more. I will forget everything about it rather soon. MLs were good in their acting though! Hope to see them in a better scripted drama Was this review helpful to you?

Un Coup de Coeur
Etant une grande fan de BL, j'en ai vu une grande partie.Je n'avais pas encore été convaincue par les BL coréens depuis les massives déceptions qu'on été "Cherry Blossoms After Winter" et "Semantic Error".
Je suis donc allée plutôt septique sur "Blueming" en ne m'attendant à rien du tout sachant, qui plus est, la longueur de ce drama qui est très court même pour un BL.
Quelle ne fut pas ma surprise! J'ai réellement adoré mon visionnage. J'ai trouvé que la réalisation/production était plutôt brute/réelle, elle m'a beaucoup fait penser à celle de "I Told Sunset About You". J'ai trouvé qu'ils ont essayé de traiter des sujets qui nous touchent tous de manière subtile et bien faite.
Les personnages étaient attachants, la relation se développe de manière très naturelle. Rien de spectaculaire ou d'extraordinaire. Tout est pure et brut. C'était touchant.
Le jeu d'acteur était vraiment pas mal! En soi, j'ai vraiment aimé parce que ça change énormément du type de BL qu'on peut trouver en ce moment. C'était rafraichissant et les personnages ont vraiment su porter l'ensemble.
Je recommande vivement !

I wasn't expecting much about this since the main series wasn't as good as I wish it could have however it was still disappointing. I really don't like the choices that were made here (Kuea choice and how it was portrayed). 4 episodes were enough to make something better. Even the marriage scene wasn't satisfying same for the "intimate" scenes. I prefer the second couples romance but they weren't developped so... :/Was this review helpful to you?

OH MY GOD! Such a loooong time since I felt that way towards a drama. I fell in love at ep 1. My fav actress is confirmed, bloody hell it is. I wasn't a huge fan of Hu Yi Tian and I changed my mind soooo quickly this is hilarious. What I love the most in this ain't the romance but the HUA FAMILY! How they try everything, how they put all their efforts in order to accomplish their goal, it was so beautiful to see. I will not say it was a roller coaster since it wasn't at all. There is almost no angst, everything is well managed with... COMMUNICATION. The romance was chief's kiss, really. A feared masked man as love interest who turns out to be a golden retriever and a strong willed woman who isn't scared by what people thinks of her ? I'M ALL IN. The cinematrography was so beautiful too... The only thing I think that could be better was the last part with the King who was fucking annoying. That part could be shortened or angstier for me to really believe it but still it was still ok with me lmao! Was this review helpful to you?

This needs at least 30 minutes more to be BELIEVABLE and LOGICAL! It took its time to introduce the characters even with subplots we don't give a sh*t about (boss of the ML) and they finally start to be friends, young ML doesn't have even think about the other as a love interest that he suddenly confesses 10 minutes before the ending ??? And what ? They kissed and he got rejected, then they are together for one night once he got 1st place (they made a whole drama about that just to not uses it after... underwhelming af) and he "broke up" "abandonned" him the next morning ???? To finally jump off the car and getting back to him in the last minutes ? I'd rather have no drama about the sunbae at dance and the female boss and the 10 last minutes developped during the fucking movie not just threw at your face for 8 minutes straight where all happened at the same time for no f*ck*ng reason. Ilogical, underwhelming, confusing and unsatisfying. I doubted I'd try anything else from the screenwriter or the director. Easy watch though Was this review helpful to you?

One of the best plot twist ever. Very well written and protrayed. All characters were spectacular and I was drawn by the story right away. Didn't see it coming even though I tried to understand I still didn't predict anything. The only thing I'm not a fan of was the ending for one of our main characters. It wasn't satisfying imo just unfair and leave you with a bittersweet taste... Though it was realistic in that way even though not everything was really realistic in the plot lmao Was this review helpful to you?
