Things I'd like to talk about: 1. An deserves to be happy (two make it happen) 2. Khai isn't as bad as everyone makes him out to be 3. bonexteacher relationship is terrible, everyone's an asshole bone included 4. There should have been more time in between the fight Third and Khai had and Third rushing to the train station.
From the perspective of someone who's read the novel i think they had to do that because they needed to establish…
I agree that the reasons why Third hurts so much needs to be made abundantly clear and if this was a 24 episode show (like I thought it was going to be) the 5 they gave it would make sense. But it isn't and that means everything has to be shorter and just as impactful. There is Little to no plot development in episodes 1 to 3 just a crying Third. When we finally start to move the story along its basically at the mid point, talk about lazy writing. Kai leaving should have been episode 4 not 6, and important events shouldn't have been shoved to the last episode.
Tl;DR It just seems like the writers use climax as a plateau and nosedive rather than build up and peak. Which makes for a rushed Ending and way too many loose ends
Just realized this is only 12 episodes... and now I'm wondering what the writers were thinking, like they wasted 5 episodes on Gun crying.. not that he didn't do a good job (he did) but like pacing wise and plot wise it was a waste no I'm scared the ending is going to seem rushed
