oh her sister and her sister's mom are so annoying ugh. can't believe i have to put up with them for the next 25 episodes (i'm on 15 rn). i was actually hoping that we could see a cute sister duo at the beginning of the first episode but it is super obvious that i was very wrong lmao. but overall, this is adorable, the main couple are so cute and they work so well together!

she had a (ugly) wig on for lucky's first love because she cut a lot of it off for her role in arsenal military academy where she crossdressed as a man. (but she really did a pretty good job as a dude so it kinda makes up for it).

In most c-dramas, they aren't a part-timer or a celebrity, they're just like other employees but are often portrayed as weak. here she is not, maybe that's not good enough for you/not realistic but it's fine for me honestly. there's been so so so much worse before. also, we're only 12 episodes in, maybe she goes through more character development to become stronger later on, we'll see

i'm pretty sure they're comparing her to other female leads in dramas, like its a common theme in dramas for the ml to rescue the fl (it's supposed to be romantic or something). i don't agree with this either but there's a drunk scene in almost every drama. also she's not very whiny and she's capable of doing things (even when the ml says she can't stay in mh, she knows she wants to). she's definitely not perfect but she's not the typical damsel in distress.

Honestly, that's so true but these tropes are scarily common in these types of dramas so I'm pretty sure people have gotten sort of used to it already which should also not happen yikes.

yes there is a love triangle with yuan shuai, jiang jun, and du lei. also yuan shuai's friend qiao na likes yuan shuai too. but, its clear that he doesn't like her at all.

yes, i agree that's really weird and creepy. it's also in a lot of c-dramas too so it isn't just this one. for now, maybe just skipping/fast forwarding the scenes with her doing that will work. hopefully they realize that this is not normal and stop normalizing it.
