Yep yep he is not as polished as the other leads but i think he did better here than TTEOTM. There was a short time i actually rooted for him and Xiaoyao. But then xiangliu came into the picture.. 🤣🤣

I think the FLs character stayed closer to the novel than the ML. She is very task driven to eradicate the DG who killed her clan but her dilemma is falling in love with her enemy.
In the novel, the ML is bloodthristy and a lot darker. TTJ would massacre his own people. They made him more noble in the drama, so in contrast, the FL seems to be the villian for betraying him.

Yes it is Xianxia cos there are immortals, devil and gods. I used to avoid all xianxia because I couldn't stand the VERY bad CGI and dainty fairy princesses. They made me cringe. Hahahah None of those here. The standards have been upped a lot in recent years.
It may get a bit slow around episode 10 Bore Arc but please push on and u will see why. Hope u make it to the end! Enjoy!

I just finished watching MJTY too! From the trailers, I thought every main character was destined to die or get separated. There are many misleading parts but I ended the drama quite happy. I realised not every OE/BE is going to knife u like TTEOTM.. 🤣🤣🤣

Yeah, the worst thing is that it follows the novel closely so there is no chance of changing the ending.
Cp aside, the drama is really quite well produced and the actors have been amazing. I honestly did not care about YangZi before cos I got a bad impression of her from the drama she did with xiaozhan. But she managed to impress me here and made me some sort of fan. Her dramatic scenes are really powerful.
Tan Jianci's XiangLiu (silver hair) character is quite like DG1.0 here, so i guess u will like him. Zhang Wanyi's CangXuan( cousin/childhood playmate) is not a likable character in s1 but his acting made him win fans.
