Sometimes I think he looks attractive, other times, not really, even kind of ugly. There is a slight resemblance to Sota. But Sota is always attractive to me.
My first Korean BL after so long. I enjoyed the sunshine character and looks of Milli, which made me want to continue to watch. I preferred the story in the beginning than towards the end, but haven't watched the last two episodes and won't. Just teasing the kisses was stupid.
well i find both really interestingand good in their own way. it's not even half as bad as uou potrayed it. your…
That''s true, everybody likes different things. Both shows are getting lots of love, so clearly I'm the minority. Just a little upset that I haven't been connecting with Japanese BL lately, it's the only country I watch in the BL world. I need to find some regular Japanese dramas to watch.
The guys are growing on me so much. They're both just good guys and their personalities are interesting, which I found lacking in My Personal Weatherman, where I found both guys drab. I can't even finish the series. And the series I Can't Reach You is such a typical, average high school BL/drama, I don't care for the guys either. I feel in a way Amane and Ryuji have a special relationship, of course it needs to develop, but it's just so sweet already.
Just watched it, and it's definitely up there with the scariest Japanese films I've seen. Pulse was okay until the last 30 minutes. I watched Ringu awhile ago, but that was good too. But yeah, the actors, scare scenes, atmosphere, just everything hit really well for me. I just wish there was more explanation, background to why or how, Japanese horror films miss more than hit for me, I get bored with them often, so this was a pleasant surprise.
I binge watched this series in 1 or 2 days during the holidays/December 2021. I heard great things about it, so I got Netflix. After, Alice in Borderland came up next in recommendations. I decided to give it a try because I really liked the series, although I wasn't too sure about a Japanese show. It took me over 5 months to finish the first season of Alice. I had mixed thoughts about it but was absolutely more affected by it. I became obsessed with Alice and watched several reaction videos. Squid Games is more relatable, but I prefer Alice, it's exciting, complicated, and mysterious.
I am so happy this is over. A few months ago, I binge watched the first season and loved it. It became one of my favorite BLs. So I was so excited when I heard there was a second season coming in just a couple months. Well, the second season did not live up to expectations. My primary issue was Akira. He was charismatic, relatable and humorous last season, and all of that was taken away for the second season to me. I enjoyed watching and came back each week for Sho. He became more attractive to me throughout the progression of the season, so it was worth watching in that regard.
