this trope bothers me too ! ... i think the writers show these situations usually as bad attitude situations from certain characters [usually bad/wrong] in the dramas .... to show to the viewers !!!

AGREE , i also hate watching parents controlling their adult children s love lives with an iron fist !!! so i definitely agree with you !!! force them / threaten them to date or marry somebody the parents choose ... just hate it .... this is not a healthy family living in a home .... its a dictatorship with humans imprisoned in a house under a horrible ruler !!

7 more episodes ... the way it goes ... the frustration is huge . introducing that mr WANG thing/male to complicate matters , i find it very annoying .... is this FL character will find him interesting ??? ... its disgusting if she will ... [ i am not talking about his age , but his character and attitude ] . i still believe our couple will end up together , but i think it will be only in the last 2 ep. the most ....
