The events of this episode nearly gave me a heart attack. I was so upset that I ended up hating YXW for a week.
So far, I've had my gripes with the writers, but nonetheless, I appreciated the integrity of the events that unfolded after episode 26. It's possible that a seamless continuity would have made the experience even better.
He really is impeccable. It's truly remarkable how rarely an actor can successfully portray several characters with very different feelings in the same drama.
It'll be hard to beat the three Devil Gods featured in TTEOTM, in terms of elegance, power, beauty, intelligence, brainwashing ability and psychopathic stare, accompanied by an unforgettable smile.
The First Devil God kills the Gods. The Second Devil God eliminates the Immortals. The Third Devil God ends his own life.
What's even more interesting is that the actor perfectly portrayed these characters, who possess very different emotions and behaviors.
I suddenly wondered at the ADG's motivations for creating a devil fetus in the first place. 1) why make a devil…
1) I think he chose a mortal because mortals are the greatest sinners. What's more, it's very difficult to manipulate an immortal like a mortal. The evil bone is the dustbin of sins, so it's very wise to choose a carrier, especially as ADG wanted a body to reincarnate, so the body should have his blood. The evil bone could possess someone else, but that person would just be a puppet of ADG and couldn't become ADG himself. For ADG to return, he needs the evil fetus.
2) When you look at his scenario, from ADG's point of view, it's the perfect scenario, because he wanted his evil fetus to live his life experience, but he added the betrayal and abandonment aspect because he wanted the evil fetus to become a demon of its own free will. This is why DG°2, in episode 1, spent his time destroying the immortal sects instead of opening the path of compensation. ADG wanted him to experience the suffering of being a demon and to open the compensation path of his own free will, which was not the case for DG°3 because of love. This is why ADG wanted to take his body and mind by force in episode 39.
3) Because after interacting with these people, they will eventually betray and abandon him, causing a crisis of anguish and contempt for the world. ADG will be his salvation, but he's simply underestimated the power of love, especially TTJ's.
This has to be the most overrated drama ever. High production value, high traffic celebs, amazing ost, and everything…
Criticism of the naive leads and plot is unfair, as the script offers original, well-thought-out elements. The antagonist character is far from boring and is in fact complex and intriguing, captivating viewers. To claim that the title should be "misunderstanding" is a misguided and reductive interpretation of the plot. It's unfortunate that you can't appreciate this work for what it is, preferring to rely solely on a specific site rating to assess its quality. However, it's important to recognize that everyone has their own preferences when it comes to drama, and that a work of art can't please everyone. Before discrediting a site's ratings without foundation, it's worth thinking carefully to avoid offending those who have devoted their time to watching and giving their opinion, whether positive or negative.
