Actually stylist is doing a very good job fits are significant and cool af
Something worth considering is most of the high end fashion brands you see on the show are sponsors. They donate their clothing to the production in exchange for gaining visibility/marketing. The outfit pieces you see on Bright in particular have been hand-picked and chosen by the designers because they want to highlight those select desgins to the public.
The stylist have a lot less autonomy with the costume design/selection than we're led to believe. They're just trying to do the best they can with the given framework they're confined to.
It's a lot more nuanced that just "these stylists have bad taste" (Which for the record, I respectfully disagree with.)
Mainly picked this one up for the nostalgia factor, ended up being pleasantly surprised.
They've done a great job of modernizing this adaptation.
Thai dramas really have potential to appeal to international audiences if given the right resources. Hope this series puts us on the radar for a few more people outside of Thailand.
dropped it at ep 8, i am cringing so hard. tho i absolutely love the first season, this one is a snooze-fest.…
The product placement in season one was just as blatant and egregious as it currently is in season two. It's okay to like season one better, but let us not forget these ads have been cringe since the very first episode.
Also, one weird thing: this episode 10 is opening up weird question for me and this is kind of a risky territory…
You have some really great insights about the political moment in Thailand and how it relates to this show. We have an on going forum thread about this very topic, I would love to see you involved in that discussion.
I have been following the pro democracy movement in Thailand for some time now, but I didn't know the actress in Grace's vision was such an outspoken supporter of the protesters. I'm definitely going to try and research her a bit.
I, 1000% agree with you that there is NO WAY the military would let Colonel Bird participate in a show that made the current establishment look bad.
Actually, avoiding abusing his powers is the opposite of weakness.
It would be much easier to mind control everyone to doing what he wants. Instead, he's letting everyone decide for themselves if they support his ideals.
It takes courage and strength to do the right thing, especially when its harder.
I just keep watching Ms. Darin tripping up with mistake after mistake, and im thinking to myself: Ms. Ladda would have never let this get so out of hand. She ran a tight a ship.

Walking in with very low expectations

I really hope the female lead (and provided writing) can live up to the expectations of her role.
Really happy they managed to squeeze in a scene with her.

This would also allow Korn an opportunity to infect the medical equipment with NYX88.
