Chapter 19: Step back, relax!

Jo here, I'm 19 and from India. I'm a CompSci major who loves reading, scented candles and playing guitar.  primarily a romance enthusiast but i'm down for anything crazy or exceptionally good. kind of an overthinker who feels her days are long and years are short.

here's a bit about my drama journey: my friend in middle school (2018) recommended me to watch Kdramas but i somehow found myself binge watching Cdramas instead. one series led to another and well here we are! as for ratings, i don't have a rigid system it's all about my mood. my ADHD brain might hate a "masterpiece" and love a cookbook, you'll never know.

i love Wuxia Chinese dramas so much there's just something that is so satisfying watching the aesthetics of a fantasy land and feeling like you belong. The politics, strategies, thinking one step ahead, not to mention romance done so frikin right, gosh. i love complex plot lines and multifaceted characters. you could have a bad day, they have it worse. On a stark contrast, i also love Chinese modern day romcoms or just romance that makes you squeal and genuinely giddy with the overflowing chemistry. 

it's been like 5yrs since I joined MDL, and i still have no idea how to add pictures or gifs here. trust me I tried, i really did but it somehow ends up so crappy. and if you couldn't tell already, i ramble. a lot. sometimes I do *try* writing reviews for shows i really liked so you can check some of them :) if you've read until here i just have one thing to ask you...
