Story of Kunning Palace is one of my favorite dramas. But I didn’t like The Princess Royal. The female lead’s character was unbearable. I stopped at episode 14. My recommendation is Story of Kunning Palace.

From the early episodes, I sensed that Hui Shan always valued Qi Shui the most among her children. Honestly, that wasn’t right at all. A mother should never discriminate between her children—especially when they’re still young. Even in the letter she wrote to Qi Shui, she said 'I love you the most.' At first, I thought this was a mistake by the screenwriter, maybe an attempt to highlight the male lead. But now, after Kaiyan killed his family out of jealousy, everything makes sense. The father also favored Yiren the most and showed affection to Qi Shui simply because he was a child. Kaiyan was always left behind—completely deprived of love, alone, and excluded. I don’t justify his crimes, but his mental state was damaged because of these reasons. If his parents had fulfilled their responsibilities properly, things wouldn’t have turned out this way.

I feel that iQIYI is biased against this drama or its team. It was obvious that the official account had prepared for today’s meeting. But it seems iQIYI didn’t give permission.

In episode 31, these two enemies finally reunited. But they didn’t speak to each other at all throughout the entire episode. LSF just watched QS from afar. I wish they had fought like they used to😂😂. Even at the grave, LSF stood there like a statue.

Today, many drama trailers were released. But TBBM shared nothing at all. And this drama isn’t even on the list of most anticipated ones. I guess we won’t be seeing The Boundless Bright Moon this year.

Same here. From all the leaked footage, I think this drama is going to be high quality. Plus, the CP chemistry is amazing. ZQ is a rising young star on the path to popularity, while ZYC is a talented, experienced, and handsome actor. They look perfect together.

In terms of costume and makeup quality, this is Da Cheng’s best drama so far. I really wish it were a long one 🥲. I’ve always wanted to see DC in outfits like these, and now we finally get to—even if it’s just a short drama 😄. Anyway, I trust DC’s acting. I’m sure this drama will be a big hit!
