Excellent drama. Part 2 is a satisfying conclusion. I know some didn't like the romance aspect — I enjoyed it. I'm glad romance wasn't the main focus, but also liked how DongEun was supported and in turn, helped YeoJung.
there's some competent singers and dancers, but few who are good/great at both. it's very telling that many haven't had much proper training prior to the show. also, it feels like Mnet is showing the same 20 trainees...
overall a cute show. i watched it for Jaehyun; he did a good job. though i found the main couple to be the worst of the three. it annoyed me how much time Joo Ah spent with Joon, and then how much time she spent deciding if she liked MinHo or not so in the end, they hardly were a 'couple'. Jimin and Haneul couple plus RoSa was a lot of drama and was more entertaining.
The first season was sooo good, me and my mom finished it in no time. Meanwhile the second season was a snoozefest that took us a month to watch. The plot dragged on and the interactions between Simok and Yeojin were nonexistent or stiff for most of S2.
The 6.2 rating is very fair. The second season was slow-paced, too many shots of characters staring at each other, and flashbacks. The endgame couple disappointed me a lot yes, but the character development and plot was disappointing too. To me, the most enjoyable parts of the plot were the dystopian aspects.
