I agree with My Dearest! It's good! While Empress Ki & Queen Seon Deok is good, it's been a while since they've been released, so I'm not sure about the relatability, etc. Speaking of the early 2010's: Moon Embracing the Sun & Sungkyunkwan Scandal are also good too!

I think it's fitting, there's no need to, I also think he doesn't have an heir, maybe they want to imply how he wasn't able to love another woman, let alone having a child with someone else.
I must say, this is the only group of celebrity friends so far that seems really genuine, no weird air/awkward air (any of that) in them. You can really feel the real bond between them.
It's more like a docu over a show, they're really chill and laid back, no ounce of acting or just-doing-it-for-the-camera show. Makes me want to be their friend too. I also love how supportive they are with each other, and how they don't really use Korea's age thing (Sunbae system) to power trip younger friends (which something you can feel/see with other celeb friends).
All in all, this is a healing journey you would want to be in. Every episode heals something in you! Lol, yeah it's that good! π
I really did not like this Season tbh (not even close to Season 1). But the last 10mins. of the final episode did warm my heart (unfortunately it still did not save this Season).
To add, I also did hope Jeokbong's character to improve, it's such a waste that he's just there for comedic relief, I thought he'd be one of the more powerful counter to help Somun with battling the baffling-overly-powerful evil spirits. I find it absurd that the evil characters get to be super powerful beyond belief just like that, but the counters have to train so hard just to be able to stand in front of the evil spirits, even then they'd be killed with a flick of a finger π
Also, they can finish Ma Juseok's case with a few episodes and not the whole damn season!!! We get the point! Somun's character don't give up easily and would go out of his way to save anyone! We get it already! Ughhh the whole damn season eyyy??
