this comment give me an ick and yeah its a biphobic comment
Yeah, I called out the 'hetero girls' piling on because a lot of the aggressive 'biphobia' accusations here feel like straight-perspective dismissals of gay men's real insecurities/trauma in mixed-orientation dynamics, stuff I've lived through. If that shoe fits some commenters, cool; if not, it wasn't aimed at you.

I never blanket-labeled bi people as cheaters, I shared how specific bad experiences with bi men (love-bomb then ghost) left me with trust issues, and Duang's past triggered that ick + made Qin's reaction relatable. Canon check: both Duang and Qin straight-up say their only intimate experiences were with girls/women, no guys before each other. They're written as gay men with compulsory hetero pasts (super common in BL and IRL), not bi. No bi rep being erased here, so the 'generalizing bi people including fictional ones' doesn't apply.

Trauma talk in public =/= attacking a community. If my hurt 'icks' you, scroll. But telling someone they have no right to voice personal pain because of bad exes? seriously stfu

this comment give me an ick and yeah its a biphobic comment
Giving you 'ick' by sharing how real cheating/ghosting by bi exes left me with attachment issues? That's not biphobia; that's called having boundaries from trauma. The drama isn't even bi rep, both guys say only girls before. If my lived experience 'icks' you more than dismissing someone's pain, maybe reflect on why. Not every personal story is an attack on a community.

Qin literally said that he's only been with a girl too??? Like his experience with the girl and being a top in…
Qin said exactly that...only been with a girl, hated topping because of it, wanted to bottom now. Duang said the same. They're not bi in the story, they're gay men with hetero-only pasts. Me relating to Qin's reaction isn't generalizing 'all bisexual people including fictional ones, because these characters aren't bisexual. It's me seeing my trust issues represented in a gay man's fear of a partner's opposite-gender history. If you think any mention of 'ick' from hetero past = biphobia blanket statement, that's on you stretching it. Trauma isn't a generalization; it's specific. Hope that clarifies

During their conversations after the shower both Qin and Duang tell each other that their only experience of intimacy…
Exactly, thank you for saying this. Both Qin and Duang say their only intimacy was with women. So when I say the 'past with a girl' gave me ick because of my own history, it's literally mirroring Qin's own insecurities in the show. Not sure why stating canon + personal trauma = biphobia to some people

blah blah blah so basically you're projecting got it
Projecting? nah, you're just mad someone shared trauma that doesn't fit the 'no ick allowed' rule. The show has both leads explicitly say their only sex was with girls. If that's not triggering for you, cool. but invalidating my real experiences because you don't like the feeling it gives you is peak dismissal. Try empathy instead of one-word snark next time.

Didn't Qin also said he dated & slept with a girl ? He even pointed out that he didn't like being on "top"…
Yes Qin literally said the same thing, his only experience was with a girl, and he hated topping because it felt tiring/exhausting in that context. Both characters confirm zero prior male partners. If the show itself has them saying this without it being 'bi rep,' why is me relating to Qin's insecurity suddenly generalizing 'all bi people'? I'm talking about my real-life trauma with bi men who did cheat/love-bomb/dip out, not fictional characters who aren't even bi. You can call out biphobia without erasing personal experiences or pretending the show's dialogue doesn't exist. Projection much? I never said 'all bi people cheat'. I said my past makes me wary, and this scene hit home. Read before assuming

On Duang with You Mar 15, 2026
After seeing episode 7, and knowing that Duang has been sexually involved with a girl before gave me an ick, not because I am biphobic or anything, but because of my past experiences with bi men in gay relationships. and I get Qin's reaction and insecurities so well after he got to know that Duang is going to hang out with girls. It might be something so small for majority of viewers but it kind of made me feel represented that something like this happens a lot in gay relationships involving bi men. I mean of course this is a drama so Duang is nice and not evil, but lmao irl the scene is so different, if in real life someone like Duang tried it on me, It would probably end up in me being depressed after being love bombed by him and then he gets distant so now I have permanent attachment issues and trust issues which takes years to overcome. but obviously this is a drama so its all good haha🥲🥲🥲

The fact that all the female BL fans are getting pissed clearly shows that they don’t know how it actually works in real life. I could relate to this show so much as a gay man who has been in love with their best friend and has abandonment issues, obviously, but y’all love unrealistic fantasy shows, so leave this one alone.
