Also this, like White Christmas, wants to make us think the psycho won...yeah he kinda did in this one but murdering and torturing innocent people because you can is not the same as killing a bunch of psychos after you've been brought to the edge of the cliff....

From what I understand, it's because Baek-ah's mom is former Silla royalty and his grandma won't accept someone from Hubaekje, he mentioned his grandma's family was killed by Woo Hee's grandfather or something like that, have to check the episode again.
