what a well written article on such a beloved actress! This article made me realize four things: #1: Kim Sun Ah needs to come back to the kdrama world ASAP, #2: Kim Sun Ah co-starred with Gong Yoo in two movies, #3: Gong Yoo needs to get himself back to the kdrama world ASAP, & #4: Kim Sun Ah and Gong Yoo need to act together in a kdrama together ASAP! This needs to happen! Plain and simple.
So excited to see how Koo's performance in "Blood" will develop! For the people who say she cant act ... umm have you seen this chick's movies?? This girl can and will prove all of her haters wrong. :)
Jo In Sung breaks up with Kim Min Hee and is seen with Gong Hyo Jin: http://www.dramafever.com/news/jo-in-sung-breaks-up-with-kim-min-hee-break-and-is-seen-with-gong-hyo-jin/
I really hope he comes back with a really awesome drama soon! GONG YOO bOGoSHIPEO! We miss you! Maybe he's just trying to focus on acting in films for now but I hope he won't forget about doing dramas. The last drama I saw him in was "BIG" and to say the least I was still left speechless with his performance just not the drama as a whole...
Hmm... that first suggestion looks interesting and I will definitely be checking that out later but I just wanted to put out there that there are "drama specials" that KBS has on their youtube channel. They are like an hour long mini-drama/movie that cut out all of the numerous episodes of a drama. I definitely recommend ppl look them up :)
So far there are at least 3 re-makes I have heard are in the works:
1.) You Who Came From the Stars
2.) Good Doctor
3.) Reply 1997--> which has been re-named "Reply 1999"
I LOVE THIS ONE TOO!!!! This drama is funny, quirky, mysterious, gives you food for thought & ALSO has great kissing…
I love your comments! And I agree ^^ I liked the reference Jae Yeol made to "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest" and I find similarities within this drama. The fact that these characters are loveable but they are also not perfect and we readily see their flaws but that's why I like it so much. It's not trying to pretend or sugarcoat these issues. I felt so bad for Jae Yeol after the 4th episode. Like you said, I'm curious how it will all be revealed.
Ha! Before I even read this article I knew that "Always" would be on here :D I have yet to watch it but from seeing the trailer previously it already had my heart <3
I really did try to like this drama... but I HAD to stop midway through. I don't even remember what ep. I stopped on seriously. LMH kind of disappointed me here in this role in comparison to his awesome role in Faith w/ Kim Hee Sun. I hated the hype and like others don't think it lived up to it. It was too overrated and pretentious TT Furthermore, the only person(s) who made a lasting impression on me was Kim Woo Bin's character and of course Kang Haneul (who doesn't love him).
why did xiao le call his mom mu cheng ??? its really really weird
I always thought that Xiao Le called her by her name as a way to parent her especially when she started acting a certain way. It was a cute little thing he did, but I just figured it was his own little way of kinda calling his mom out on thngs she did -- kinda like how a parent would do to their child :)
I don't know about anybody else, but on the Boys over Flowers OST "Starlight Tears" by Kim Yoo Kyung really is a sad song at least for me. Since BOF was my first drama, that song always makes my heart hurt a little. I think it's something about the singer's voice that makes it so sad. Every time I hear it, I seriously am about 5-seconds away from tearing up. lol it's the type of song that reminds you of your first love especially if it was an intense relationship.
Also, the song "Hero" by J-Min from the Miss Korea soundtrack. I know this drama was not as popular but to anyone who has watched it, you'll know that this song is really bittersweet. I don't want to spoil the drama but this song was so sweet and also very sad during the times when the female lead was struggling to overcome her challenges to try and become Miss Korea. Now that I've finished the drama, I can listen to this song with a light heart and remember the fun times I had watching this drama. :)
I really did love this drama .. but there seemed to be something lacking throughout these last few eps. I'm glad that the ending tied up loose ends and thought the ending scene w/ Jin Hee and Chang Min was a sweet ending ;)
My all time favorite mother is Yoo Jung-Hwa from Angel Eyes.
Such a heartwarming character!
Seriously, can I like virtually hug you right now --> aww shoot I'm gonna do it anyway **HUGS** I was about to comment that Mrs. Jung-Hwa (ssi) should definitely be #1 on this list :D Thank you for taking the words out of my mouth. <3 her character
I'm just wondering, is this drama worth watching? I'm prepared for a lot of tears to come, but I'm hoping that…
yes, I say give it a chance. especially for the first 2 eps... and I won't lie you definitely will cry :'( but after you are done you will see that it was worth it :)
