Never have i cried so much in recent years for a show. Enjoyed chasing new eps weekly but delayed watching the final 3 eps for a surprising neverending cryfest. Didn't expect the writers would make the seniors go to jail. Still glad for sweet happy ending Heartwarming family drama where senior actors get to shine their craft with screentime as much as juniors.

He Peng indeed is an amazing actor to be able to make me think he’s handsome despite being not handsome. Searched him up but no I haven’t watched anything else from him before. Will lookout for his future works.

Came for ZZL but progressed into team magistrate. First time watching He Ping who is neither cute nor handsome, but here he’s very handsome in character, well suited for FL.

The only excellent series amongst kdrama n cdrama drought. Lee Joon Hyuk here reminds of Bae Yong Joon craze from early 2000s. Been a long time since we had such passe romance with swoonworthy tender mature lead.

Only reason i'm watching is because its got some of my fav actors and on Netflix. Was looking forward to an original new genre, but sadly its not imaginative, interesting, entertaining or addictive, plus lacking in romcom.

Tis the only one i'm watching n enjoying out of MDL current top 5 airing cdramas.

First of Dylan’s series I’ve ever completed. Hv liked him a long time n watched most of his shows (since Meteor Garden) but never ever completed any. Unlike most cdramas, Dafeng is fast paced n best of all romance is kept minimal, whilst still excellently entertaining.

Most hilarious LOL historical type cdrama since The Romance of Tiger and Rose. Absolutely loving it.

Not c-romance fan hence title a put off. Started for thriller mystery genre. Ep 1 had some bomb detonation excitement. Then managed to skim 6eps for the leads but quickly losing steam without suspense. Where’s the serial killer plot? Hope it sets off in the next eps or it’s a bummer to drop this and wait for more Under The Skin.

Yes from ep 3 Sun Qian reminds of Jun Jun Ji Hyun when her hair is down.

Came for ML but fell for FL. at first sight. Just started ep 1 and so in love with Sun Qian’s scruffy look. Watched her in other dramas before but only in this show does she really captivate me, although not the average Chinese idol actress standard of pretty. Sun Qian here somehow reminds of Tang Wei, simply beautiful without fake-ness.

Strangely am enjoying since ep 1 and its getting even juicier as they become adults. I normally avoid makjang and never watch long dramas.

Stumbled on iqiyi ep 1 and i'm in love. Good songwriter demos, excellent singers, fantastic performances. Only knew Zhou Shen to boot and turned out i like everyone.

Had to stop watching in bed at night halfway into ep 2. Continued day time and its just right up my alley. Loving this as much as Family Matters.

My next popcorn show since Judge From Hell. Absolutely kick ass family.

Thank you for bringing to light the grim occupation of TW firefighters. Supposedly national heroes around the world, unfortunately national scapegoats in TW. Like someone else wrote below - your spouse hates you, parents hate you, politicians hate you, media hate you, family of people you save hate you, community hate you. Worse of all your bosses hate you. Morale of the story - don't be a firefighter in TW. Well done, I enjoyed the series, stories and seeing some of my fav TW actors in a good show.
