TLP put Ren Min on my radar as a good actresss to look out for. Not conventional pretty but with endearing beauty that shines from within. She's the total opposite of typical skinny pretty of which one easily gets fedup of. Went on to watch Ray Of Light and phew she's great. Would luv to watch Ren Min x Wu Lei.
Also, Alen Fang is soooo Hyun Bin. Every scene in any outfit or hairstyle just reminds of mini Hyun Bin. With still a long way to polish his acting skills, Alen may also hv to buff up a bit more for stronger screen presence. Then perhaps one day with the right scripts, he may become nearly as great as Hyun Bin.
As for Xiao Zhan, he's perfect. In fact XZ ain't handsome like Hyun Bin or Yang Yang, nor is XS acting as refined as Hu Ge or Chen Xiao in costume cdramas. But XZ magnetically demands my attention even with his soft feminine visuals and speech. A testimony to good acting and screen presence.
Overall, a rare enjoyable xianxia for me to finish all 40 eps. I watched Ashes of Love and didn't even enjoy it half as much as TLP. Thank you to the beautiful cast of TLP.

Wow to ep 5 when the councellor belted out diverse insights of individual class 14 students. Everyone has their own story that moulds individual personalities during these formative years.
Came to peek at Ren Min from TLP. Surprised by 8.4 douban opening score. Perhaps the power of TFBoys. Just started ep 1 but the depressing feels don't match its bright title. Lets see. Gd luck to me - hoping for another gd cdrama after Destined and TLP. Fireworks didn't work for me.
I like it. Reminds of an old hallyu wave kdrama Hotelier. He looks dashing and she looks sweet but the english title is weird. Honestly, any new k-content released on netflix will always sell well simply because the world subscribes to it.
Not sure if 4.4% average is any good, but its nearly a perfect 10 for me. Despite non popular leads, the who dun it time travel mystery captivated all the way. Opening theme has that Taxi vibe, and the writer gave us a sweet happy ending. Double thumbs up.
His role is perfect in his every drama! Man's mesmerizing
Me2 its kinda nostalgic watching him on screen for the first time after so many years disappearing from hk scene. Reminds of his Sun Boyz days, slump n hiatus to further his dance studies in US, then return hk with well received idol couple ad deals with ah sa ... a la emperor entertainment days. First n foremost he liked dancing the most, but its thanks to cdramas that discovered his handsomeness n develop an acting career for him.
Since Hospital Playlist, i mistook her for Jung So Min with some extra weight. Now that she lost weight in The Good Bad Mother, she looks even more like Jung So Min. They look so much alike it's confusing.
