I'm going to try to say this as nicely as I can because I really mean no offense. When you say in your review/comment…
I agree, I thought the mom letting him know she had sent Zhi Xia a letter was to get him to admit it himself, but I think she then left it blank because she also ultimately wanted her last and only son happy, even if she didn't agree with it. I never thought of that look at the end as a last goodbye, it's just her smile seems almost like she's desperately reminding herself that everything is okay, Hao Nan is still here, it's not really Hao Xun, don't let the doubts and weirdness take hold. Grief does strange things to a person, so I totally believe that in her desperation to hold on to her husband she's letting herself believe it's Hao Nan, and to be fair it's not like she stumbled onto anything that Hao Xun didn't explain away or definitively proved he wasn't truly Hao Nan...So many interesting interpretations : ) Man this drama has done a number on us lol
Do you have the link for this drama plot but Zhang Yi Lin's version?
Did it say it got taken down because of copyright? It's probably gone from youtube for now, but it might be on dailymotion...though I don't know what title it would go by. Have you looked through Zhang Yi Lin's playlists on youtube?

Lol this is too funny, I'm dying laughing here : ) Ok first of all, please please PLEASE use the spoiler button. You cannot keep spoiling the entire drama, please use the spoiler button. You can edit your comments at any time to click the spoiler box and hide your comments behind the spoiler tag. Second, I think the song works with the perspective that the person she still loves is her husband, right that's what's so tragic about all this. Her love is her husband, always has been and still is and she's so desperate to hold on to him and not lose him that she's willing to believe his soul is in her brother-in-law. And it's sad for him, too, because the only reason she loves "him" is because he's pretending to be her husband. If he thought he had a shot of winning her love as himself, he wouldn't have woken up pretending to be the man she's in love with : / Remember towards the end when he got hit by the car and she's in the stairwell praying, what does she ask for? She's begging for Hao Nan, not Hao Xi, to be saved and their mom tells him that. That the only reason she cares for him is because she thinks within his body is Hao Nan, not Hao Xi. Third, to your last point with her seeing her husband's image, I interpret it as that's what she sees when she looks at Hao Xi. She doesn't see him, she sees her husband, that's why she's smiling, with the guilt coming from the fact that it's still technically her brother-in-law. The awkwardness and wrongness of that makes her uncomfortable, but she's ultimately still happy because despite all that Hao Nan is still with her. That or I could also see it as the doubt creeping in, cuz remember she's deluding herself into thinking it's her husband. I think one could interpret this a lot of ways, but I also think that was the whole point of that ending, to leave it open to the audience. Fourth, Hao Xi didn't save anyone from despair. He couldn't save his brother's life, his mom had to lose not only her eldest son but had to lose her youngest to his love for his sister-in-law, and although he has saved Zhi Xia from the pain of losing her husband, he's still lying to her. And he really messed up the company due to the scandal with her, so I don't think anyone can say the he saved the company. No one is the hero in this, no one is the villain. It's all just a sad, tragic, yet very compelling story. It's a good drama and that's it. I do agree with you that a sequel would be really interesting! Unfortunately, we hardly get those in vertical dramas : ( Now I will end with this: you've said your points, and I've said mine. We have both interpreted this drama very differently and that's fine, but for the sake of other MDL users who probably don't want the drama spoiled even more I would suggest letting this conversation end here. And don't forget to use the spoiler tag : )

No, she didn't love the brother-in-law and she never found out about him pretending to be her husband. But I am curious why you think it's obvious she knew, because I feel like it was obvious she still didn't know lol : )
