I think this ML is a loser and should get some real problems in his life. The son of a bitch falls in love with a married woman and then drowns in self-pity—he’s an idiot.
Tae Pung is right. She needs to overcome her insecurity and stand up for herself. She’s not in danger — she holds the same position (or even a higher one, considering she’s been with Tae Pung since the beginning) — and she’s extremely competent. There can’t be a duality between her being fully capable and, at the same time, unable to defend herself or assert her position.
Besides, this is just another case of identifying a problem and trying to overcome it, just like what happened with Tae Pung. In the beginning, he was completely reckless and irresponsible, but now he’s shown himself to be more cautious.
Honestly, if she can’t handle sexism, she’s clearly not suited for the sales department. And considering the time period in which the drama takes place - and the fact that sales is a field based on human interaction - she’ll have to deal with comments of the same level or even worse.
Power that is not exercised is lost. The king should have dealt with whoever he wanted. 'Oh, but there's no evidence.' Who cares? He's the king — just fabricate some.
Well, I’ve read over 800 chapters of the novel, and I’m quite apprehensive about how they’re going to adapt this story. Han Li is a smart, low-profile character who doesn’t get involved in things that don’t concern him. He rarely gets caught up in any drama, and even the romance is very subtle. What worries me is how they might try to alter the plot to maintain a dynamic pace in a series with only 30 episodes.
I just wanted to share my perspective on your analysis — I actually agree with most of what you said. But I…
I agree with your point of view, but for me 'realistic ≠ interesting.' My view is that the arc of the Marquis was more interesting, and the rest, while still good, fell short. But as I said, even though it wasn't the part I enjoyed the most, it’s still very good overall.
A really good drama. I’d give it an 8.5/10. Unfortunately, I found the final arc quite average, mostly because the way he dealt with the marquis was masterfully done, while the eunuch's arc was handled half with excellence and half with luck. The final enemy was basically dealt with without any real plan—he stopped anticipating his opponent and started acting somewhat recklessly. Still, even the final part had a storyline worth a 7, along with a happy and satisfying ending. It’s definitely a drama worth watching.
and yan ke, probably the biggest cuck i've ever seen in a c-drama.
22 and you're still chasing her ? kkkkkkkkkk
It’ll come with the same issues, and a few more.

Whether he will wake up? You decide.
allowed to live
Completely justifiable.
