It seems that they may be related, because their flashbacks are similar. They haven't recealed much but I honestly have a feeling that Jing Tian's mom/dad's death may be related to Wen Bai's family, but I'm not sure. As for Jin Ling and Wen Bai. In Jin Ling's eyes, Wen Bai is a senior she really respects while Wen Bai sees her as more than just his junior, he really likes her. Yes, there is a love triangle going on right now between the 3 but I'm not sure if Jing Tian really likes Jin Ling or just sees her as a really good friend of his cause his actions towards her really varies. I do agree though, the love triangle is unnecessary cause this drama doesnt focus much on the romance anyways but I guess they want to make Wen Bai's character more important in this plot so I understand why they did it.

Keep in mind that this drama focuses more on investigations though, if you're looking for romance this will not really satisfy you. I find the investigation scenes really interesting.

I think I finished some but same, I was never really satisfied with the dramas he acted in. But this character actually matches him really well, I'm enjoying it more than I thought. His character is really cute and smart here, you should try.

Watched the first 8 eps and I have to say that I'm loving this so far. If you're looking for romance then this may not be the right drama for you cause although they have romance, its not a big part of the drama. But if you're not, this is highly recommended.
