will have to admit the dialogue yoonoh and peach exchanged about the sea towards the end of this last episode rly got to me… not sure why but i rly love the metaphor it presents. yoonoh is peach’s special cold and lonely sea and peach is yoonoh’s warm and glittering one. ;_; all in all a good series for the amount of time we got to spend with it. just wish it could have been a bit longer and more fleshed out.
Just a guess, they probably had limited shooting time for Jimmy and Tommy as foreign visitors to Korea during…
yea i'd definitely have to agree with you there! i had been anticipating this show for quite some time as a fan of both jimmy and tommy, so i remember seeing their posts and whatnot from when they had traveled to korea to start shooting. i think that's part of the reason why i may be able to overlook some of the show's flaws - i realize how much the cast had to accomplish in such a short time.
would you recommend bite me so far? i don't think i have seen anything about it.
in all honesty i think the series could have benefited from simply being longer. a lot of grievances people seem to have would be solved if there was more time to properly flesh out the plot. while the missing details surrounding the general “rules” of this ghost world/peach’s interactions with yoonoh don’t particularly bother me, i get why they may distract others. even in this latest ep a few of the cuts seemed oddly timed - a lot of jumping from emotionally intense scenes to happier ones… all this being said, i have certainly enjoyed the series so far - the actors are incredible, especially yoonoh and his mother. i hope to see jaehyun in another main role some day.
But even if he reincarnates, how will they make it work? Next life? Because I don't see it happening in the current…
ah that’s a good point! i totally overlooked the whole re-birth aspect of it and how that would put them at totally different stages of life! maybe reincarnation is not the exact thing i’m thinking of. what i mentioned just feels like a vaguely familiar plot device that i may have seen in another show or film - but i can’t remember quite how it played out before.
tommy’s character mentioned a bit about reincarnation in episode 3, so… fingers crossed the ending will be happy. something tells me the initial scene in the first episode was misleading. maybe it will be a ~fated to meet again~ type of situation… or perhaps i’m just being hopeful lolz either way! definitely enjoying this so far.
