I was definitely late to the party! Playing a lot of catch-up now. Yes, I lose motivation sometimes too and go through lulls when I can't find an engaging show.

I think I'll definitely get frustrated with the repetition and unsolved things. I'm actually enjoying the trend of 12 ep kdramas instead of the 16 as I've watched too many 16 ep dramas now where there are too many unnecessary/annoying storylines added just to stretch it out.
I've seen some tiktok edits of the leads and I got that same vibe. I just finished when life gives you tangerines so I might be comparing it too much as he had really good chemistry with IU.

I'm late to the drama too. I put it on the back burner as the ratings were high, and I was 'saving it'. 2 eps in and I'm enjoying it! Why did I wait this long hahaha

This is probably an unpopular opinion, he's definitely attractive but I'm struggling to see him in a school uniform. He looks too mature/grown up for it and it's distracting me. I usually don't have such a problem with this as it pretty much happens in every school kdrama but for some reason it's annoying me here hahaha. Agree with the see-through veil comment, but that cluelessness is also very common unfortunately.

They tease a potential love triangle/square involving the leads and the 2ML & 2FL but the ML & FL only have eyes for each other so no 'real' love triangles. The 'villain' also likes the ML but he hates her.

Binged the 4 eps last night. I just know I'm going to feel more and more depressed as this continues! Love the show and the 2 lead actors though!

Only happy ending options are her staying in the novel or him coming to the real world.

I understand your perspective and opinion, but I think it makes sense for her to push the ML & original FL towards each other. It is the original plot of the novel which she is trying to correct from her mistake, she likes the original FL as a friend and I'm assuming she expects to return home at some point.

I haven't watched the most recent eps yet but I'm so bored of the first sister's (shouhua) storyline with her husband. Hers feels the most boring out of the 5. I feel like they rushed the main couple and I've been watching like 10 eps of their boring interactions. So draggy. Might watch their heavy focused eps on hyper speed until it gets to the other sisters. Definitely expected a lot more from this show. I'll continue watching just because I like most of the cast.

There's a lot of flashbacks and scenes from different POVs so you will see him haha. I really loved the show. I was wishing for more uncle-niece scenes (they were great). Waiting impatiently for season 2. Definitely recommend watching!

I think she's doing a good job so far. There's a lot more to the character compared to the love next door character so that might help. The chemistry between the 4 leads is great!
