I wonder how they'll match the timeline of hidden love? Like when yifan and yan had miscommunications; yan flew out to yihe to see zhi during her "intership" and found out that her bf was actually jiaxu. In the same timeframe yifan flew out to yihe to fix things with him.
During all of this will they show yan beating up jiaxu?
The sang siblings have so much damn love to give away. Zhi went to jaixu's parents grave and Yan went to yifans dads grave. I love it when leads are genuinely good ppl omg.

"high production... modern dramas", im not refering to hong-kong tv dramas. y point was that unlike historical/wuxia, modern cdramas have always been far below modern kdramas in storyline/production!
I am from Toronto, so here the only asian stuff that was famous in the last 50 years (including the 90's) has been hong-kong action movies, anime or bollywood. Hallyu wave hit in w lee min ho and he introduced me to dramas. Shortly after I heard about Love020 and got into cdramas.
Maybe instead of recency bias, think about the western world! Nobody watched any chinese tv and hong-kong action movies were not chinese, they were hong-kong. So yes it's been a long time coming for chinese ent to make waves here.
And so begins the new high-production era of modern cdramas, very much so up there with kdramas. I'm so glad we've upgraded from popular shows like The Brightest Star in the Sky (still good but corny and dated production) to WIFTY, hidden love, L&P etc...
