Been a fan of his since Maiden Holmes. Happy to see him get the attention. He's a really great actor
RIGHT, i remember major backlash during the Bai Lu scandal and so many c-netz upset he was paired with jing tian (implying he's not big enough). So great to see him come so far.
I was thinking about what dramas he would credit to his success. I would say the ones that brought him fans are Best Thing, POJ, SOKP and Flourish in time.
And even a funnier thing, the West is swooning over a cdrama, so communism WON globally LMAO Pursuit of Jade is…
This is such an unhinged take. Can't people just appreciate without a political agenda?
Also you use heavy words extremely lightly, I have never had to use the word 'terrorist attack' in a sentence but I would definitely not use it in this context.
Seems like the drama is gonna be different from the novel
yeah, i read the novel last night, its written in the view of murong qing yi's daughter who meets his long-lost son etc... no mention of this at all here. Also he's pretty immoral in the novel (grape, etc..). So it wouldn't work if they didn't change it.
Born into a wealthy and influential family, Mu Rong Qingyi accidentally rescues Ren Susu from a runaway horse at a riding club. This chance encounter sparks a romance between the aristocratic young man and the humble girlwas it fate or karma? After one night of passion, Mu Rong Qingyi leaves the country, forgetting about Ren Susu entirely for four long years. When they meet again, she is on stage portraying the tragic character Zhu Yingtai in a performance, while he watches her from the audience, captivated by her still-beautiful face. This reunion reveals a shocking truth: they had a child together, who is now deceased. The loss of their child awakens his feelings of love and guilt.
People who have post drama blues from such a shallow story and mediocre characters just watch shows for the pretty…
what do u enjoy? yesterday i replied to you calling deaths game, a show about the asian principles or reincarnation and karma "western garbage" and today u are her criticizing this.
these are habits of people living a miserable life that come to vent their anger online, take it offline, go see a therapist.
That show was so bad, literally made no sense, westernized garbage....
Interesting, I gave it a 10/10.
The concept of the recarnation story and karmic punishment is incredibly asian (karma itself is a word from India, and reincarnation is dharmic/Buddhist). What about karmic punishment and reincarnation is Western to you?
most higly rated i agree but i think pursuit of jade is much more popular and so is fei yu's love beyond the grave
WHAT? im watching these shows... girl i can't even have a opinion???? fkn hell.
No matter what app i use or who i talk to at my majority chinese university, as i sit here typing in a chinese library, 100% POJ is more popular. However among my friends who watch dramas, the praise for love story in the 1970's is there, my friends mom said it reminded her of her youth, so clearly its incredibly well made.
Maybe its a chinese-canadian bias or an international-chinese canadian bias that everyone and their man has watched POJ, if so... sorry my opinion has you butthurt.
this show has the least marketing of the avg cdramas, the CP doesn't interact, we had 1 fanmeet, 1 interview and…
firstly no need to attack me personally, i'm grown, i don't need you to tell me that and secondly idk what you mean by being on netflix as marketing as if the show in your profile isn't also on there.
i will no longer respond, so leave whatever personal reply u want.

tbh the male lead is insanely powerful too, he up there as a human dealing with spirits
