On His Man Season 3 Jul 14, 2024
Just watched the 8 episodes that aired so far and I'm still not sure if I find this season interesting or not. The format of this show keeps bothering me, because you really can't expect anything serious with such a short format, and everything is too much exaggerated.
The focus on the drama between Yeong Jun and Myeong Gyun in the last episode for example. Yeong Jun is definitely a type of person I dislike because he is very "loud" to express himself, but seems to assume to always be right, and that everyone else thinks like him. He lacks empathy to try to understand others for me. As for Myeong Gyun, as many Koreans, he lacks the ability to say things straightforwardly so that others will understand him better, so of course people can misjudged what he says or thinks our doubt his sincerity even if he really is. In the end, they just don't seem good for each others and didn't ended their relationship well because it was never properly ended, even if they weren't a couple yet. One assumed that the other understood and it wasn't important, the other didn't expressed himself properly and kept thinking about it and seems hurt about all that. So nobody is a bad guy, they are just two imperfect people who are not suited for each others. Next episode will probably, and hopefully, clear things so we don't dwell on it until the end.

I like him and find him interesting, even the most interesting one amongst all the participants of "His Man Season 3", but I think he lacks confidence or don't know how to say things straightforwardly (which is a common thing in Korea actually), and thus can make others agressive (like episode 8 showed) or confused about him, which is a little bit sad. He seems the type of people you need to know well to not misjudge what he says or thinks.

They did it again. Japanese are the only ones that can make such sad yet good stories. It's really liberating to watch this. It's like feeling a weight on our soul being lifted. I love it. And this one confirms that Ren is definitely one of my favourite actors. Whatever the character he plays-, he is amazing, but he is especially good portraying this kind of characters, full of complexed emotions.

I'm very happy for him (his man is quite lucky ^^) , and for his couple with Tul, they look good together and they really seem like a good match. The way they revealed and confirmed the suspicions around them was also very cool. They deserve the best, and I hope they will be happy together for the longest time. Now I can't wait even more to see Mew in all his projects.

On Mashiko Atsuki Jul 6, 2024
I just saw Atsuki perform in London Coliseum Theatre as Haku in the "Spirited Away" play !
I was so happy to be lucky to see him perform (they are three different actors playing the same role, and I didn't know which one would it be that day).
It was amazing to hear his voice and see him play live after watching him on a screen. He was incredible, and as a big fan of "Spirited Away" and especially Aku's character, I wasn't disappointed. A great performance and, overall, such a stunning and wonderful show.

Revolver is coming aug 7
Yes I know, but when I wrote my comment the date wasn't announced yet. And even though, it won't be available before few weeks or months for international fans.

He is been robbed so many times already. Why is it so? Does he have not so much popularity in Korea ?
I really don't know... He is popular in Korea too, there isn't a single person who don't know him and I have never met someone disliking him neither, so I don't know why he doesn't receive more recognition from awards organisations.

And no nomination at the 3rd Blue Dragon Series Awards. This is a joke seriously.

Jcw is going to be in what episode?
It seems like the next episode will also be about Park Bo Gum and Park Myung Soo experiences, two episodes for a duo. So it's likely that it will be episodes 3 and 4 or 5 and 6.

Where or how do you watch it ?
Yes thank you, I already checked it few weeks ago but I didn't understand how it works and neither took the time to do. I was, and still am, looking for simple videos with subtitles to be honest ^^, hopefully it will come out soon or in the future.

Well, despite some news about him we still have no real content about Chang Wook these days... nothing new on his YT channel for a while and we have to wait for is first episode of "My Name Is Gabriel". And no news regarding the release or airing of his many projects. I miss watching him in something new.

I didn't understand that they would live the life of someone for three days, just that they would live with some people somewhere in the world, that's more interesting than I thought. Interesting.

Well, it was interesting, a clever plot. Unfortunately, like most BL dramas, there was a lot of over acting and they unnecessarily complicated many things so it wasn't that good, at least for me. Better acting that isn't overplayed and a more condensed story development would have made it a great TV series. It made me discover Patiphan so I'm still glad I watched it. I look forward to his acting career and future roles ("4 Minutes" soon), there is room for improvement but he has a great potential.

I understand that this is just a regular marketing gimmick. But, it made me wonder that Rain might have done the…
Well he did most of the stunts in "Ninja Assassin", and he trained like crazy for that role and was in top form for it. I remember watching behind the scenes videos at that time showing his trainings.

I love it. Honestly it started low for me, but every episode I like it more and more. That's so good when a drama is like that. Ye Jin and Jun Young make a great duo here, and Jun Young in particular is phenomenal in that role. Looking forward to the next episodes.
