You might be irritated by the answer lol....no and yes! Spoilers with few details ahead....No - in the living…
I agree! Sometimes its all about the journey and not about the destination and this drama is exactly like that. If you like suspense in supernatural setting then this is a very good drama to watch regardless of last 15 mins.
I’m sure I’m going to irritate some of you but, do they end up together or no?
You might be irritated by the answer lol....no and yes! Spoilers with few details ahead.... No - in the living realm. She got married with a mysterious unknown, grew old with an awful looking wig and had few grand kids. Yes - after death Black came to collect her soul and they went for a breezy winter walk hand in hand while the viewers pulled out their hair in WTF did the director do with such an awesome series.
I agree with most of the commentators....it was an excellent show with the crappiest ending! It is an amazing thriller with gripping suspense...I cldn't figure out the story till 11/12th episode. Excellent male lead and supporting actors and they could have easily done away with the romance part of it which basically ruined the ending too. Few illogical lose ends but will overlook them due to rest of the strong writing. Anyone who loves suspense should watch this and stop at 17.5th episode!
I will fight you over Chicago Typewriter. But I understand the rest of them. I liked While You Were Sleeping but…
Aha....I will join your squad! I either dropped or saw the rest on the list but wasn't impressed, so didn't make an attempt to read what "cityhunter" wrote about them. And I read twice what "cityhunter" wrote about Chicago Typewriter and gathered that the hair cut of lead was not like able (it did take some time to get used to hairstyle since most of k-drama leads have "you-will-be-cursed-if-you-see-my- forehead/or where-the-damn-is-my-hair-pin" kind of hair style lol), lead was a prick (totally required for the character he was playing) while lead actress was pathetic (I don't even know where this came from! She was everything but that). But to each their own....I can totally agree to disagree!
Excellent drama....loved the characters and cast who brought them to life. All 3 pairs portrayed different slices of life and I liked them all. My fav were Soo Ji and Mr. Ma....they were brilliant and outshone others. Except for too much over the top philosophy narrated by Ji Ho sometimes (especially in last 2 epi) which I couldn't decipher for the life of me, I think this drama was brilliant and will easily land in top 5 romantic dramas of 2017! Great job....clap clap!
I stuck with it till the end with FF button in use (a lot of times) so in my book it was an ok drama! (I usually drop dramas like hot cake if they are unbearable, like Lovers in Bloom which I started watching parallely with this one). Someone who has patience to watch a story line which cld have been concluded in less than 30 episodes, can give it a try. What I really liked about this drama was relationship between Minho and GB....they both were aholes (minho's character matured well towards the end) but the love and care they shared between them was unconditional and unwavering.....much better love story than other her twin! Even in the end Minho took care of GB helping her with post postpartum depression like a husband should and I appreciated the writers to showcase it even though it was for short time
I was thoroughly entertained by this series! It has a twist in a twist in a twist after episode 16th and I still don't know what to make of it. But I swear I was blind-sighted by them....mind blown......haaaaa!
I cldn't finish any of the School series earlier (2013 & 15) but this one has one of the best chemistry between the leads in k-drama land and made it worth watching till the end!
I don't agree that people change that easily (one of the character did 360 turn in the last episode....WTF!) but I will overlook it due to other good aspects.
