As a DaiShun lover, I would agree with your perspective. I even said during watching the show that Shun is the problem and needs to go heal. I was questioning why he even came on a dating reality show as broken as he is, believe me I'm not saying he doesn't deserves love. I just think he needed to give himself permission to heal from his hurtful past. This is also coming from a broken person herself and I do think he uses his hurtful past as an excuse for his terrible attitude and mood swings, as I have did too and have now stop doing that. You can see I relate to Shun but his behavior is not an excuse. I saw online that people are saykng it's a cultural thing that we don't understand, and maybe it is, but it still don't make it right. Plus he is conventionally attractive so he gets people to brush off hks behavior as "that is how he is".
