I thought she's pretty decent as an actress actually. I can see what you mean by not seeing her as a leading lady type. She hasn't captivated me either. Perhaps she needs a breakout role or performance? I'll tell you this for sure, she's definitely more deserving of a leading role than some of the actresses I'd seen. Too often that drama are ruined by bad lead in general. And so far she hasn't bothered me at all...lol.
Haven’t seen this year and the comment section seem pretty positive, so I wonder why the review is pretty low
The plot is just ok, it's not terrible but it's not the type of plot that keeps you at the edge of your seat. The best thing it had going for is the main couple. Not shocking why the promo placed such focus on them instead. I found myself waiting for them to get back on screen on scenes without them, lol. And if you're not into the couple...I can see why some might not like it.
Perhaps pacing and plot will pick up later but as of now I think it's rated fairly around 8.
Oh forgot to mention, this is simply based on the first 6 episodes I've seen so far. Again this is still too early so rating could change...hopefully for the better. But there is enough for me to keep going and hell even if the plot never picked up I might even go through the whole drama just for the couple.
