Phat is just being considerate knowing the divorce thing of Tai's parents. Tai/Phat (can't remember who's the one) even said in Ep5 that they should do things slowly.

No episodes starting from first episode did it make me bored af. Japanese BLs are really good in making this type of romance. The romance isn't forcing itself. It just goes naturally.

They like cutting the whole scene like they did in HJ's confession on Ep4.

For me, it was Phat. Tai didn't want Phat to know that he's the reason Tai get through the tough times.
