it's driving me absolutely insane: is this the same house from something in my room and enchanté? the exterior is the same, apart from the paint. but the interior has a different layout with the kitchen, and the landscaping looks completely different.
As of episode 8, the timeline isn't making sense to me (though I don't really expect it to). Fiat's mom left when he was pretty young, he blames his stepmom for the reason his mom is absent. Fiat's half-sister seems pretty young, which means the "incident" and running away from home would've only occurred prior to his half-sister's birth, which means that Fiat should've been old enough to know what he was doing. Am I missing something, or will it all be explained later? The only way that I can work this out so far is that Fiat's mother left when he was really young and Faye came in right away; but his half -sister was then born much later, and whatever weird psychological mess his mother caused him explain's Fiat's acting out then.
jai was toxic...... in much the same way that teh was toxic to oh-aew in ITSAY, which is far different from teh's new take on messiness in this season. i came away from my binge watch under the impression that jai actually did have feelings for teh and there's more than meets the eye to his manipulation and the rationalization that he offered. in the same way that teh struggled in ITSAY with inevitable but unknown consequences that were contrary to where he wanted to go, what he wanted to be, and how it would affect others, jai found himself in a situation with teh that would've disrupted where he wanted to go, what he wanted to be, and have a profound impact on teh and oh-aew. and just as teh justified his actions in ITSAY, probably fully believing his rationalization that is completely against his true feelings, jai does the same. it's just one of the many beautiful, devastating, and fascinating parallels between ITSAY and IPYTM.
